Any other shows that have similar humour as Peep Show? I don't watch other british shit
Jordan Bennett
Boku no Pico
Carter Peterson
>no laugh track
the royale family
Juan Bailey
whether or not the humor is similiar, I'm not sure. regardless, you gotta watch Black Books
Hudson Cook
>Black Books
>top tier mommy feets
yum, i'm in.
Brandon Russell
Green Wing, kind of, though it's a lot more absurd
Aiden James
nothing comes even close
Julian Lewis
why wouldn't it work tho?
Jason Morgan
I think the camerawork is a bit underrated. I used to think it didn't really matter and was just a gimmick but I think it's definitely one of the most important part of the show, it does a good job of really pulling you into the world. It's fucking genius.
I would've liked to see them do an episode or like an alternate take on an episode where they had more traditional camera shots and see just how different the show comes off. Also yeah, no laugh track is a lot better
Brayden Mitchell
How bad will it be?
Liam Davis
the non-family
Lincoln Brooks
>but I think it's definitely one of the most important part of the show, it does a good job of really pulling you into the world. It's fucking genius.
absolutely this. Increases the immersion a lot.
gender swapped is okay. But US? Lol.
Aiden Powell
it won't work the average woman has little struggle in life
Kayden Foster
Maybe it could work but only if the show is more taking the core concept of the show and doing something more original. If it's supposed to literally be peep show but with girls in the US, there is absolutely no fucking way it could work. Not trying to sound like an incel here but the struggles Mark & Jeremy go through are very much male problems at least as far as all the stuff about being lonely and the relationship shit. It would make even less in the modern day with women because of shit like tinder. Even if they got average or below looking actresses, they still couldn't struggle as much.
I like Peep Shows concept but like I said, a gender swapped version of the show would have to do it's own thing and not try to tread peep shows exact plot line. It would come off as extremely unrealistic.
Nathaniel Wood
>Not trying to sound like an incel
>proceeds to sound like an incel
kek.
Jacob Walker
It could work.
>Jez female is a girl who spent most of her youth partying and slutting it up but now faces the consequences of hitting the wall and having accomplished absolutely nothing with her life, while her peers are out getting married and having children
>Mark character has to be a character with below average looks, spent life on nerdy hobbies that aren't that common and lacks social skills and experiences because of it, has a hard time connecting with men.
Mason Taylor
Succession is by the same writer as Peep Show
Camden Nelson
The average woman has no inner monologue anymore.
Juan Morris
yeah but that will never happen, because its a us show they glamorize everything a bit more and the other main problem you can't critique women for hitting the wall in media
Nathan Barnes

Watch the unaired pilot for the american version then, it's fucking horrible.
Sebastian Carter
Can't turn out worse than this
youtube.com
Chase Lee
Ryder Murphy
American (Texan) here. I'm incredibly sorry if this is really happening. We really have no control over the shit their doing
Christian Stewart
but is he wrong?
Luke Sullivan
of course he is. That's basement incel projections of how woman's life looks like.
Adrian Russell
Black Books and Fawlty Towers are essential
there's only one Peep Show. Nothing that's quite like it.
Luke Baker
this user gets it. It's a potential kino. Who would you cast?
Ryan Walker
Jeremy, Gerard's died of the flu
James Collins
if they wanted to be really heady about it they could play on the fact that women create their own "peep shows" for random strangers to get a close look at their lives through tik tok and other such service -- they almost welcome the voyeurism.
Matthew Allen
Why is it filmed like a 90s commercial
James Reed
Can't think of any US actors that would work
