Are there any Xennials here (mid-late 30s) who remember the Neon Era (1988-1993)? Since this was the last pre-Internet era, it seems like it was memory-holed immediately after it ended.

Since most people here are in their late 20s, there's more nostalgia on this board for the Y2K Chrome Era (1998-2003).

based Clarissa Explains It All. she snuck out to go to a Pearl Jam concert in one episode

born 91' here the formative years of my childhood were 95' to 99'

Summer of 99' was particularly memorable with the south park movie debuting and the song Steal My Sunshine

Then you don't remember the neon era

Because you just made that term and the dates up. We remember the early 90s when people dressed like this.

Did MJH have the correct celebrity life?
>Clarissa Explains it All
>immediately followed by
>Sabrina the Teenage Witch
>immediately followed by
>Melissa and Joey and Lifetime/Hallmark style movies

I mean she's been on tv for like at least 30 yrs

I remember hearing it on forums before. Other terms for it are Neighties, Poppy Bush Interzone, and New Jack Swing Era.

Not personally, just the media. WIth Power Rangers being the most glaring example.

>Xennials
This is dumb, if you are on the cusp of two generations then you decide what you are.

I was born in 1982 and I am a millennial, because I associate more with that generation. Compare that to my older brother which is certainly Gen X (fav band being Led Zeppelin).

>Since this was the last pre-Internet era
