Pretty accurate. Season 5 is above and beyond at the moment. S3 had the benefit of benefiting off S2's work. And S4 had the unfortunate task of filling in for Chucks death and setting up S5. S1 was good, but it hadn't found its identity yet.

Perfect example of why you can't judge a whole series on one season.
