The opening with Poe and Finn was cool. Solos last moments are nice and then his last and super memorable. The last fight is cool enough with the giant planet crumbling. This is all subjective. There is a guy out there who thinks it's a true masterpiece.

No they fucking didn’t. Hell, some good performances could have saved that dumpster fire of a franchise. Even if the story a character is in is garbage, you can still deliver seemingly unimportant lines in an interesting way that’s interesting to the audience.

Just using this as an example, this was one of a long chain of lines that could have easily been written to be interesting than delivered by the actor in a fun way. He was a former storm trooper so he could have easily said something insightful about the tech they were witnessing, which would have also made Finn more relevant to what was going on, like he was more useful other than just being an fucking meat shield.
