I wish I could be obsessed witch something. Anything really. I don't know what it's like to be obsessed with anything. I don't see how people do that with celebs or brands. I just don't get it. What am I missing?
it tried to break new ground but never broke new ground
still a nice try
you're missing drive
i'm obsessed with all movies and piece of literature i know deep inside i'll never be able to match, but it keeps me creating stuff
I don't do that with celebs or brands but I do that with pieces of art. Like I'll fall in love with a certain song or album or movie and it'll have a lot of replay/rewatch value for me. Has that never happened to you?
both great movies, repoman is always in my top 5. im obsessed with 5 easy pieces
Perhaps, I don't really know where I can find that drive. I already know anything I would try and create would just be overshadowed so shy even try. I don't care if it's anything for anyone else I try to focus on doing things that I'd like but it just never works out.
Ever since I was little I could never really sit through a second viewing of a movie is seen before. Mainly due to already knowing what would happen so I would lose all purpose of watching it again. To be fair I was never really introduced to anything that wasn't mainstream. I like art and music and such but nothing really sticks with me. Maybe it's a lack of appreciation as well. I'm not really sure.
Some autism helps
Based, one of the most underrated films of all time.
Worth watching once just for the weirdness, but I can't imagine getting anything out of a rewatch.
Underrated how? everybody loves it
How do I enjoy it?
Its full of hidden messages
Is it too late to get vaccinated?
SEAN SEAN SEAN SEAN
Based junkiebro
Who says it tried to break new ground? Why is that your only metric for success? What an ignorant post.
I like it, but there is something just a little off, I can’t really put my finger on it. Like slightly spoiled milk
It was kino, faggot
I think user means it's not often talked abt. Usually No Country for Old Men or Fargo or Buster Scruggs comes up but it's rare normies mention this film
the only movie i watch more than once a year is the thing.
It's a great film and is gaining a cult like status. A24 sabotaged this film. The piano scene alone is different than anything else we have seen in film
Agree. It’s like it’s roughly three scenes away from being perfect but it’s missing something
nice
For me it's pic related.
I can't stop rewatching it. I even keep listening to that song from the film
John Carter. The pacing of the story, the feeling of adventure, the hero's journey, the alpha male presence in the lead that has disappeared from modern films, the beautiful, strong, sexy ass Lynn Collins as Deja Thoris. The chad James Purefoy and Ciaran Hinds from Rome. The production design, the cinematography, good cgi. The The amount of FUN it was to watch this in theaters.
One of the most underrated movies in the last decade and so sad we won't get a sequel.
>watches hitchcock once
Based
I just started watching this and I was not expecting him to fuck up those kids haha. Pretty good so far
This
The phonecall near the end gave way too much away. If it hadn't been for it, it would have been great.
It could have cut about 15-20 minutes off and had a few less titties and nobody could argue against it being kino
For me it's Shin Godzilla.

How can you be obsessed with Sorcerer and not with Wages of Fear?
Apparently the tunnels and shit is based on real conspiracies. I saw some autist on Yas Forums talking abt it and it's also appeared on reddit. It all connects.
The film uses real locations and those real locations happen to literally have statues of owls and all seeing eye pyramid and owned by people like The Rothschild

>"Where'd you learn to drive? Teamster?"
>"Greyhound."
interesting poster
Unironically Titanic. None of us will ever be able to comprehend the fear those people must have felt that night.
is the criterion channel worth a subscription?
I found it fascinating. Paranoia kino.
Inside Llewyn Davis.
I genuinely think it's close to being a perfect movie.
I think I know my plan for tonight
>dude depression
It's embarrassing doomer-core
The American remake missed the entire point of this movie
No. That movie could've been perfect, but was only amazing
I keep listening to this soundtrack over and over again. It makes me want to leave something to someone when I die and hopefully be remembered fondly by those I left behind despite the horrible things I've done.
Loved this film too OP
you listened to ghosteen yet?
Same here
also cronenberg's eXistenZ. it's by far less artistic than naked lunch, but such catchy scifi thriller. ending had an interesting twist.
What makes you think love will end
When you know that my whole life depends
On you
Never my love
If you are actually using it, yes. I’ve gone months without using it though, which kinda sucks looking back
reductionism is not criticism my low IQ friend
i think about this movie a lot
