Gerard Butler was perfectly cast

BUT TAKE FROM THEM

CAKE TOWN

I know. It's uncanny how much ancient Spartan sounds just like modern Scottish isn't it?

>He thinks Spartans spoke "ancient Spartan"
You tried to sound smart but revealed your retardation

It actually did, I was at Thermopylae so I would know

Very. Thanks for the post, anonymous.

Spartans were the Scots of Greece

MOTHER!
FATHER!
YOU ARE WRONG!

I'm giving you another (you) to bring even more attention to this retarded post.

Gerard Butler was relentlessly handsome.

Basê.

Fucking retard.

Hey, I doubt it.

KINO. there will never be another like it

>tfw 300 was the last good ancient kino

Attached: romealesia.webm (1280x720, 1.98M)

why can't Snyder adapt this style of storytelling to Justice League?

I fucking hate this stupid boring film. it pretends at face to be a “man’s film” but at the end of the day it’s just another retarded graphic novel shitter that tries too hard to be gritty. I can’t think of a better example of “aged like milk.” maybe I’m just sick and tired of comic book bullshit, but either way an actual historical depiction would have been better. of course, you’d have to figure out how to be accurate whilst also writing out the spartans relentlessly buttfucking each other

wow those spartan uniforms are pretty spartan

>Ancient Spartan
>American education

The fact that twitter leftists absolutely hated this movie because they thought it was toxic masculinity and racist made me love it even more

WE WUZ SPARTANZ N SHIEEET

Everyone knows Romans got their accents from ancient Greeks, who in turn gave it to the British when they conquered them. Their distance from Rome made it so the updated accents couldn't get there as fast. In 500 years Brits will sound like Italians and Italians will sound like Martians or some shit.

I have never seen a more low test post, and I'm on Yas Forums 24/7.

based

keep projecting faggot and watch your muscle milk meme movie

That is total bullshit you retarded historylet.

my kino triple feature

Holy shit that is based

Would it have really changed your opinion at all had they included homosexuality? It just sounds like you don't like the portrayal of them being hyper masculine.

Maybe, maybe not. You can't prove it either way. But I can prove you're a fuckin' nerd.
Also
that's the joke

I'm not projecting. I guarantee you're either overweight or have never seen a barbell in real life, maybe even both. You soft bodied bitch.

blessed combo

How is this much kino allowed to be bundled like this?

I don’t like the campy hanging narrative, the “”“gritty”””” aesthetic, the retarded ass wardrobe, any of it. it’s like reading a fucking comic book, which I would never do in real life, so why would I want that in a film? I was also just pointing out the irony of making Spartans hyper masculine when in reality they took little boy proteges and buttfucked them into the dirt while chucking daughters off cliffs.

>high test
>wanting to watch dudes on gear run around in underwear
pick one you moron. I’ll go watch arnold if I want aesthetic goals, this is just borderline gay

One of the most quotable movies of all time. Goddamn, a true masterpiece

I was hyped when I thought that's what he was doing with Man of Steel.

It's not even a high test thing, I'm saying you're low test as fuck. You strike me as a defeatist. I can tell you, with confidence, that you would have been that baby that was tossed off the cliff because he wouldn't have been cut out to be a Spartan.

>there are people and "respected" film critics who genuinely don't understand how amazing and avant garde this cinematography is

Holy fuck that's an illegal amount of kino!

He did

>"Remember us." As simple an order as a king can give. "Remember why we died." For he did not wish tribute or song. No monuments, no poems of war and valour. His wish was simple: "Remember us," he said to me. That was his hope. Should any free soul come across that place, in all the countless centuries yet to be, may all our voices whisper to you from the ageless stones: Go tell the Spartans, passer-by, that here, by Spartan law, we lie. So my king died, and my brothers died... Barely a year ago, long I pondered my king's cryptic talk of victory. But time has proven him wise. For from free Greek to free Greek, the word was spread that bold Leonidas and his 300, so far from home, laid down their lives, not just for Sparta, but for all Greece and the promise this country holds! Now, here on this ragged patch of earth called Plataea, Xerxes' hordes face obliteration! Just there the barbarians huddle, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers, knowing full well what merciless horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of 300. Yet they stare now across the plain at 10,000 Spartans commanding 30,000 free Greeks! The enemy outnumber us a paltry three to one; good odds for any Greek. This day we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny, and usher in a future brighter than anything we could imagine! Give thanks, men! To Leonidas, and the brave 300! To victory!

Dilios was based

In fairness the movie was adapted from a graphic novel, which itself was a heavily dramatized version of the already dramatized account of Thermopylae written by Herodotus. The movie's campy, but I feel it's thematically consistent with what Herodotus wrote. He wanted the Spartans and by extension the Greeks to appear as masculine heroes standing against insurmountable odds and 300 portrays this well despite its inaccuracies.

The "throw them over with my shield" move is always kino

That fucking shield bash at :51

yawn. another brainlet with Yas Forums discourse syndrome. projections and sweeping baseless claims everywhere. the doctor recommends an internet free year, along with cognitive behavioral therapy,

>ill run into his spear thats a good move!
also kek at the guy at 0:37
