It could be, but the only game I remember is the Sierra one, which would have color. The most possible answer is an original image done in a unique style.

I just rewatched episode seven, where we're introduced to UrGoh and SkekGra, Var and So first talk about the darkening, and Stone in the Wood is taken over by the Arathim. This is one of the few shows where I can watch almost any episode and think "This is my favorite episode.". Everything fits perfectly, from how Stone in the Wood falls to the introduction of Urgoh and Skekgra. The more you watch the show the more appreciated how well thought out the story and all of the small details are. I can definitley see why poeple ship Urgoh and Skekgra[/spoier] since they are cute and bounce off each other. I forgot how comedic Skekgra's was.
Why can't more shows be as well written as this one? Everything makes sense within universe and the only misplays are due to understandable error. The show makes looking good look easy and it's making it hard to understand why every other show doesn't do the same thing.

Actually corona is kinda great for me, because now I don't have to be in a shitty working environment 24/7. Sadly I cannot turn off my email, so I'm still getting shit on for not working enough. I was hoping some of the staff bastards would bite the dust during this, but no such luck. It's amazing how academics are somehow surviving while we're all unhealthy as fuck.

I understand that when watching other series, but this one in particular makes me question all of it. It is really that hard to have a few paragraphs to make a skeleton of the entire series? It doesn't have to be of every episode, just the major beats, story arcs, and character arcs.
Now that I think more about it the biggest problem is that I'm comparing apples to oranges. The Dark Crystal is a very story driven series. There's expected to be a beginning, middle, and end. Other series are very character driven where it's expected that every episode can be watched alone save for the occasional two part season finale. Character arcs are done and undone withing the span of twenty three minutes and the writing of jokes is more important than the writing of characters.
All of that makes me appreciate the series more. To go outside the proven successful norm and become something greater is an action that should be praised, yet I'm still waiting for the second season.

A lot of popular shows are, yeah. It's feels over everything else. Which is fine, but it sucks when every show is like that.

That makes me wonder - did GoT's epic failure scare people off from making more story-driven shows? There's a pretty big risk when you have a show that's several seasons and in the end the story doesn't pay off and people hate it.

I wouldn't doubt it. I think it might be too early to tell. They could have taken a completely retarded lesson like "fantasy is dead.", but "story driven shows aren't worth it." is just as likely. Episodic series aren't as expected to have a fulfilling conclusion so to minimize risk story driven shows aren't made as much. The less likely conclusion would be it has turned companies off of doing adaptions of incomplete works. If large companies paid attention to anime adaptions of incomplete manga they should have reached that conclusion by themselves without GoT burning up.

Yeah that's me, and he is still my direct supervisor until I graduate because you can't file a complaint without ruining your career. But I went behind his back and informed the institute after he bullied a foreign student so badly she's never coming back. So my ass is covered, which is good because I'm late with everything because of him. I hate having to lie though.

That sucks too, not having anything to do at all would make anyone go loopy after a while. At least internet is up.

I think so. Usually it'll stop after two or three episodes without you clicking anything.

well the whole story is I do have blinds they're just those shitty flimsy plastic ones. I haven't replaced them because I actually like them letting in some light in the morning so I can wake up easier. I probably should find some kind of middle ground though.
