yes because hearing protection that blocks sound is a safety hazard to shooting ranges and using a suppressed (actual term) weapon will mean you don't have to physically block your ears in order to take part in the sport.
People ignorant about suppressors will claim that it makes them more clandestine which is retarded as it's still loud enough to be heard for at least 100 meters and the barrel lengh added by a suppressor doesn't exactly make a pistol stealthy anymore.
You could not for instance shoot someone in a back alley way or the next room with a suppressed weapon and remain undetected, people who espouse this are ignorant.

you don't want weapons strapped to you while you're operating a vehicle, they make leg straps for the p-90 too.
Crew weapons go in storage bins and never get used until the tank is disabled, and even then you probably wont have enough time to grab one let alone a spare magazine which is why the p-90 is superior.
If your tank gets disabled in hostile territory with infantry around you, you are not going to be able to use your weapon you're probably going to get shot or captured, if you're lucky enough to survive a tank being disabled then your next duty is to start running in the direction of your supporting infantry.
This is why UK armoured vehicle crew qualifications require a higher standard of cardio fitness than regular infantry positions. You're not expected to fire back at all and if you are it will probably be a panic magdump which ends in you suppressing for long enough to get to cover or shot dead.

Neither the P90 nor the MP7 is a "standard" because the entire PDW concept was abandoned by NATO. Both now persist entirely on SOF contracts.
