You know damn well it'll be another example of appropriated characters for the sake of having a diversity squadron. Wolverine will be a black man who's origin is 1800s slavery. Jean gray will still be Jean Gray, but Scott will be a Puerto Rican lesbian who's ok with having Wolverine in the relationship for a 3-way. Colossus will be the biggest Paki they can find. Iceman is the token white guy on the team - and he's gay like in the comics now. The only character that'll still be on-point is Storm.

say what you want about the movies, but the MCU casting has been great, mostly because they've cast adults instead of 20-something year olds. I don't know who I would pick, but people in their mid to late 30s as the main characters and a solid cast of younger actors as the students that could take their place long term.
