Nobody here is really saying that Kesha and the like were actually good. I hope so, anyhow. It's mostly people feeling nostalgia for 2000-2010. The problem is that demographics here overlap, so you've got Late Millenials and Zoomers feeling nostalgic for similar things but for different reasons. Then you add that is an international site, so with stuff travelling from the US to other places at a slower pace, you might have some guy from the 90s have the same nostalgic feelings as some kid from the 2000s. Either way, it's less about quality here and more about remembering the 00s. Some are more drawn to the early part, which is why you have the Limewire threads, while others are younger and are drawn to the late part. But these threads just act as a "general hub" of that decace. At least that's my take on it.
