Well it sure ain't spectre. FUCK Sam Smith

But also the worst second half, ever, of any Bond movie.

>Better than Goldeneye
That's gonna be a yikes from me.

Underrated movie and a perfect ending

its also the best craig bond after CR

first of all, cats screaming and swung against a wall is NOT a good Bond song

also, this movie may be crap by itself, but watched in conjunction with Casino Royale, its good

the song would be perfect if not for the stupid whore screeching in the background

QOS feels like the last proper Craig Bond movie and SF and SP were weird "homage" movies doing their own thing and turning Bond back into a parody. The Craig era turned out to be extremely disappointing, especially after such a great start with CR.

this girl was sooo fuckable mmmmmh

i wonder is she shaves her pussie

This movie is so comfy for me.

And Olga is just pure sex. I'm not against the possibility that I am coomer enough to like the movie simply on account of how crazy hot she is.

Skyfall isn't an "homage" film it's more like a subversion of that. Everytime you expected some classic Bond type shit it would laugh in your face. Also Casino Royale was garbage

>best Bond opening
That's 'The Living Daylights' user.

>Skyfall isn't an "homage" film
It's unironically a 'The Dark Knight' rip off. Bardem is basically playing The Joker. QoS was the last real attempt at a recognisable 'Bond Film' imo.

>And Olga is just pure sex
She's incredible. Add a cameo from peak Gemma Arterton as a literal fuck toy. The last genuine Bond Girls.

It is an homage film though, it was literally constructed around the fiftieth anniversary and has a ton of callbacks to previous Bond film. But you're right in that simultaneously subverts everything Bond is about, that's why it's such a weird and shitty movie that's totally incoherent.

Yes I like the song

bump

>craig
>bond

>not Moonraker
>not even a Shirley Bassey theme

This sounds like shitty hip-hop. Doesn't fit Bond at all, so I guess it's typical of the Craig era.

Casino Royale is a movie that spits on the spirit of the franchise and Skyfall is the first Craig movie to try to get back to what makes the series good.

I agree about Casino, but Skyfall is an insult to the Bond formula.

>You want Q? Here you go, don't mind that he a 22 yo faggy soiboi now
>You want Moneypenny? Ha, she was the black chick from the pre-credits sequence, didn't expect that one didja?
>You like exotic location? Here, have foggy Scotland
>You like gadgets? Ha, here's the new Q referencing the exploding pen, that's all you get
>You want Bond to end up in the arms of a beautiful Bond girl? Ha, the Bond girl in THIS MOVIE is M, and she gets killed! Expectations subverted!

It's all so tiresome

She was so hot.

CR was a return to basics and a faithful adaption of Fleming's novel. It doesn't spit on the spirit of the franchise anymore than Moonraker did by putting Bond into space or DAD did by having him surf a tsunami.

>a faithful adaption of Fleming's novel.
I love this meme. If Fleming was alive to see Casino Royale he'd be furious.

Yeah, Skyfall isn't entirely a success but it's by far the most Bond-like of all the Craig movies (though that's a pretty low bar). Honestly, Q should have been cast in the same way he was in From Russia With Love, a no nonsense middle age guy who is no nonsense about his gadgets. I know why they decided to go with some "hip hacker" but I agree with you that it's retarded.

I agree with the rest of what you posted as well except for the part about Scotland. I'm not from the UK so I thought that a cool mansion in the middle of nowhere was a pretty interesting setting.

I doubt you have ever read a Bond novel.

Weren't they more of Cold War stories with the soviets being villains?

Yeah, SMERSH started out as the main antagonist organization, which was Soviet. The whole "criminal conspiracy" thing was introduced later. Also literary Bond is very snobbish and cautious, and he resents women.

Talk about an alternative character interpretation, imagine if they used that in the movies?

according to the pictures on the internet she does

No that would be For Your Eyes Only.

I was 13 when this came out. I saw that rape scene and beat my fucking dick like it owed me money. Haven't watched any Bond movie since.

Postem

Twitter would go insane

>CR was a return to basics and a faithful adaption of Fleming's novel. It doesn't spit on the spirit of the franchise anymore than Moonraker did by putting Bond into space or DAD did by having him surf a tsunami.
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
Stfu faggot. The entire first half of casino royale is not in the book. As for "faithful" in the second half it treats the Vesper suicide and Bond's reaction to it incorrectly. It also turns Lechifre from a KGB agent into sniveling coward banker for terrorists.
And you know what? Moonraker and Die Another Day take less of a dump on the series than Casino Royale. They follow the Bond hallmarks and don't try to run from them. Are they over the top? Yeah but they are infinitely better Bond movies than Casino Royale and Bond is Bond, not some moody faggot
Die Another Day >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Trashy Bourne lite reboot

Based.
>Honor Blackman
RIP

either version would

That woman is really hot

Not even a top 10 bond girl bro

>and a faithful adaption of Fleming's novel
It's quasi-faithful. It strays plenty. A lot of what I see people complaining about are absolutely in the novel, though.

Yes, but they don't complain about those parts because they're from the book, while the film's fans defend them because they are. It's a silly thing to say "but it's in the novel!" despite that not being the contention in the first place.

>any craig bond movie
>anything other than a shitheap

Awful. Casino Royale had the best of the Craig themes.

Attached: You_Know_My_Name.png (300x266, 111.52K)

i used to get roasted on here for liking this movie

>film's fans defend them because they are
I've never really seen this. People defend Casino Royale because it's a good movie, and people don't like it because they don't think it's Bond-y enough, which is why invocation of the novel always happens. Shitflinging about the books always stems from "NOT MUH BOND! NOT MUH TROOOOOOOPEESSSS II NEEEDD THE SAAAAAME THING FEEED MEEEEEE"-fags that defend anything and everything so long as Craig isn't in it and act like Casino Royale is as foreign to Bond as taste is to Die Another Day's defenders.

Maybe you should lurk moar then faggot. Anytime anyone says they dislike those parts of the film or the film as a whole they are labeled "CONTRARIAN!" and subjected to bullshit about how it's faithful to the novel, even though it really isn't.

Except it isn't a good movie, it's a bloated mess about 30 minutes too long, stupid when it tries to be clever and the romance plot falls flat on it's face. Even without comparing it to other Bond movies it's garbage and only plebs like that turd.

>so long as Craig isn't in it
I have no problem with Craig. I feel bad for him and think they have wasted him. He regularly talks about how much he has hated making the movies. Meanwhile its pretty clear actors before him had a blast doing them.

I actually like Skyfall ok aside from the part where they use nu Q to make fun of gadgets. But, I still get attacked for not liking Casino Royale because clearly Im a contrarian for wanting something a little closer to the last 20 movies and doesn't seek to run from them

>Maybe you should lurk moar then faggot.
All I'm asking is for people to get better material than "it's not muh Bond! Not the same! I can't clap!" At least this user is trying, however half-assed.

>however half-assed.
I mean hes right. Post torture scene the movie drags unnecessarily and watching Bond "fall in love" in such a short time, getting back stabbed, but still moping cause he loves her was just dumb.
The movie coulda been cut down quite a bit and still told the same story.

lol literally same
I remember there was one frame that you could see a pussy of the raped girl and I always tried to pause it at it but never succeeded

>beat my fucking dick like it owed me money. Haven't watched any Bond movie since.
I laughed

skyfall intro beats it by a mile
spectre is also much better

>I actually like Skyfall ok
I don't mind Skyfall. I think it's above average for Bond. Mendes is a good director and Deakins is a fantastic cinematographer, and you could tell they put the budget to good use. The cast and acting are also pretty good across the board, especially Dench's. My biggest complaint is that the last act really does suck, though I can think of some other Bond movies that drop off that way (The Living Daylights maybe most of all).

It's the best Craig movie hands down.

>It's unironically a 'The Dark Knight' rip off.
This. Skyfall and Spectre are capeshit Bonds

good movie
shitty bond movie

>Bond-like
The fuck it is, it's an utter subversion of Bond
