In Spoony's case it always seemed like a stepping stone, for him. He had much bigger aspirations and seemed to overvalue his own creative output and talent. The thing is, if he had Brandon Hardesty'd it, he COULD'VE made it on TV at least a couple times, I bet. But his content just became lazier.
And now what he pioneered is very profitable and he paid the price for not seeing where this thing might go.
