This is like asking chimps to describe and review The Ilyiad. You’ll get nothing but a thread full of people who were raised on piss-poor shit music created by talentless hacks and record label shills trying to copy this and they still won’t realize that most of what they love was inspired by this band.

Pet Sounds is better but I still like Sgt. Pepper's quite a bit. I'd rank it below probably Abbey Road and Revolver for me on the Beatles rankings though.

I have never found another album with the same weird, drugged-up (but not tryhard about it like Magical Mystery Tour), almost unsettling sort of vibes as the white album.

A few good songs, but not an album that I'd listen straight through start to finish. That said, the cover band I used to play in performed the whole album for a special gig once. Lots of fun to play except "She's Leaving Home" which was miserable.

It's their most complete album, and despite the non-theme their most cohesive. You actually get a feel for each member's songwriting strengths, and each was arguably at their creative and collaborative best.

Honestly have never loved it. Definitely not my favorite Beatles’ album.
Gravitate more towards Stones and Dylan from that era anyway, perhaps because they’re more American-sounding.

It's really good. It's not their best. It was very influential and took their experimentation to places they hadn't gone yet. "She's Leaving Home" is one of the worst Beatles songs. It is an "over-rated" album among certain types of people. There are people out there who say it's their best one in kneejerk fashion. Those people are wrong and have been taken in by the mystique it has accumulated over the years. The album cover is a very large part of all this. The other part is the "proto concept album" nature of it which doesn't actually make it better or worse but does make it interesting. It also might have helped them creatively while making it.

One of the greatest albums ever imo, although with time people recognize that much less. It was pretty important and influential in it's time. It's in my top 3 with Revolver and Rubber Soul.

Honestly, The Beatles never had a bad album. They may have broken up just in time because the longer you go the more likely it becomes.
