How the fuck was it possible for them to maintain like 3+ alternate lives on top of having their own "real" family, AND run their own business? Running a small business is a full time job to begin with. Kinda took me out of it, especially in the later seasons when they were both maintaining multiple different identities. Doesn't seem possible for anyone to have that much time, especially while doing it all secretly and trying to be as unassuming as possible.

I agree and I don't think it was a plot hole so much as a deliberate thing. We see a lot regarding their stress and feeling exhausted physically mentally and morally, especially Phillip

Also it shows the desperation of the USSR as things deteriorate and our two have to take on more duties as spies get caught and can't be replaced, resources wear thin all while the American intelligence side stays pretty strong and starts to close in on them relentlessly
