/who/ - Doctor Who general

The Stealers of Dreams was a fun book. I like Captain Jack in the books because it's a nice diversion from the duality of Rose being useless and the Doctor doing everything important.

Fuck off Chibbers, I’m not cleaning up your mess.

Orgy with me, Amy, Clara, Martha, Rose, Donna, Peri, Romana (all of them), and young and old Sarah Jane. I fuck each of them over and over for weeks and it never ends. Our fucking kills the daleks once and for all.

The current Doctor (not Jody) is unable to contact his past selves and has to recruit not-Doctors (like Ganger 11, Doctor-Donna, Jenny, Jackson Lake) to help him defeat an evil Doctor (old Metacrisis Ten? Dream Lord?)

Valeyard?

>no Leela, Nyssa, Tegan, Susan, Zoe, Vicki, Victoria, Jo, or Grace
You could do better, user.

Dream lord word lord double threat

Oh shiii

I liked the idea a few threads ago of a Slitheen, Rutan, Zygon episode where no-one trusts anyone. Would lead nicely into a Sontaran v Rutan episode.

Oh and bring back Draconians

>we will never have a multi-doctor episode where 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, war, 9, 10, 11 and 12 team up to beat the shit out of 13 for breaking the promise of being the doctor
>we will never see them kick her teeth in so hard that she's forced to regenerate

>Oh and bring back Draconians
Based and PertweePilled

I so wish we could have had a 12-Doctor special. I don't even care if half of them would be CG.

There’s still time user

I don't think that's a very good idea, she'd be too injured to regenerate when 12 starts giving her the azbantium wall treatment.

I think they could do something with Deep fake technology, get lookalike actors and then CGI over their faces. Although this technology exists I think it would too expensive to do it for 12 people over an hour or so special.

I think they could make a special with latest three doctors and then have a single scene where they meet up and banter.

>we will never have a multi-doctor episode where the Timeless Tribe (incarnations 1-57) team up to beat the shit out of the post-timeless weaklings (Hartnell - Capaldi) with 13 screaming and hiding in terror.

I know it was hated here but I liked the idea of the Doctor being a loop, so at the end of his life he regenerates into the refugee and goes through the portal to become the timeless child and the reason she has infinite regenerations is because the time lords granted it to 11 in Time of the Doctor

Go to bed chris.

problem is that the time lords granted 11 a whole new cycle, not infinity. no time lord would ever be given real immortality, except probably rassilon trying to get it for himself

Good writing

The doctor always has to have the threat of real death or else every sacrifice he makes is meaningless.
Does he survive, yes, but by being on the front lines not by being a coward. He is always willing to destroy himself when necessary.
Save for that imposter Jodi

it'd be better just to recast and use the living older doctors, though i think its kinda too soon to bring back the war doctor

>that filename

Jodie Whittaker naked to visit the Church of the Mainframe.

Meta season presented by The Narrator (Doctor Who night, Shada intro, The Curator) about repairing the timeline at the end of the time war starting all the 9th Doctors (Eccleston, Atkinson, Grant & Briggs) by Moffat (featuring Billie Piper as the Moment)

Just trying to think of some way to undo it whilst keeping it in canon without outright denying it

>though i think its kinda too soon to bring back the war doctor
He's not living.

The War Doctor is the only one that shouldn't be back. His entire regeneration (unless a side material said otherwise) was spent in the Time War so aside from something with the same level of power as The Moment, he should be unable to leave it and interact with his past/future regenerations.

thats what i mean, recasting him this soon after hurts death would be in bad taste

I agree with ya there.

>no Ace
So could you

I just don't like Ace. Nothing against her looks, but I can't stand the character.

I'm sorry but your idea is honestly a little worse than the Timeless Child debacle. It would give the show a definitive end, which is not something that it should ever have. Even when Doctor Who ends it should end with the Doctor flying away in the Tardis with it basically saying that even though the show is ending, the Doctor's adventures won't end.

Amy was wrong, she should have let 11 exile the war criminal and everything would have ended better than it did in the episode.

Not my idea senpai but that’s a good shout

Next Doctor ideas;
Hayley Atwell
Patterson Joseph
Shane Richie

The life of one man and the conscience of one time lord is a small price to pay.

Sean not landing the role as the Doctor is one more reason to hate Gotham.

What was the point of this particular angle?

The only way to get out of the Timeless Child garbage IS outright denying it.
It literally contradicts anything.
>The time vortex
>Seventh knowing the history of how Time Lords were created
>Omega
>The Heremit having a deep knoladge of Regeneration to the point he could become two incarnations at once
>The regeneration being something that gets studied at the Academy, with Romana being able to chose her appareance thanks to that

Not to mention that the retcon made the Doctor better than the other Time Lords just because he comes from god knows where.
They can keep the black Doctor for sjw points (i really wouldn't, not because she is a woman of color but because her episodes and introduction were ass) but not as a Doctor that comes before the First, since this wouldn't make sense anyways: her chameleon circuit is broken.

This episodes was full of references to the serial where the First Doctor needs to go to the dentist.

Were you ever afraid of the daleks for real?

Attached: dalek.jpg (490x626, 38.69K)

Not really but if I ever met one in real life there is no way in hell I would chance it and piss it off or anything.
They aren't scary in general but when written well they can be absolutely terrifying. It depends on the story and writing and such

I got into doctor who too late to be scared of them, but still young enough I though their designs were awesome. I made so many out of paper and clay and legos, I probably still have some somewhere in my house

Some no name pakistani woman who will work for peanuts.

she also has to not really like Doctor Who and not be invested in it.

So does Timeless Child make the Doctor a refugee?

Not in the show, but I have a blog for when I was sort of frightened by one.
I once volunteered for a convention and they had a couple sci-fi "robots" brought in for something or other. Unfortunately I was mainly focusing on setting up tables and during the convention I spent what free time I had either buying shit or lounging in the anime viewing room, eating the free volunteer pizza/muffins (the room was small, most of the anime showing weren't SUPER popular so it was almost always half empty, it was close to the volunteer HQ, and it had really nice aircon)
Early on during the set-up day I'd seen K9 (the proper one, not that shitty round redesign) and R2D2, even managed to get a pic with them since they were both remote operated by the same group.
For the Dalek, though, It was quite late and I was just running back to the supply area to grab my jacket after setting up and putting a cloth over my last table, when I suddenly hear the Dalek movement sound, and see one coming around the corner staring at me. I jumped back and gave a bit of a squeak from the shock. The RC operator had a laugh before explaining that he heard me coming by and thought he'd see if he could actually scare someone with it.
Sorry about formatting, it's 1am and it's been quite a few years since I even thought of that event.

But still not losing any occasion to say the previous Doctors weren't really the Doctor

No. They're a cool concept though.

How would you feel about a Doctor not being clean shaven? Not necessarily just 12, any Doctor.

Attached: b.png (827x655, 483.6K)

Fine with me.

Attached: capaldi3.jpg (450x299, 28.13K)

I was hoping for bearded Doctor more than fem Doctor

Next doctor will have a beard. And a turban, and carry a little knife that's exempt from the Offensive Weapons Act

Make it a lie. The Master isn't a 100% trustworthy dude, my guy

He's already got the luring young women into his box down to a science.

No. I thought they were cool.

Next Doctor should have a Van Dyke, while the next Master (because he brings in views more than any other Time Lord) should have a ludicrously long Fu Manchu.

Not good enough.

I think it's a tragedy Brian Blessed never got to play the Doctor in his prime.

>because he brings in views more than any other Time Lord
during classic?

One thing I always found fascinating about Daleks is the concept that they're basically cripples bound to super-wheelchairs. If they weren't busy being xenophobic conquerors, they'd probably be one of the most pitted things in the galaxy given that at one point they were practically human. The very thing you'd expect a doctor to act caretaker for, yet they've twisted themselves into these sad little things who only get joy either through destruction, or occasionally taking what they hate and rendering them down to something close to their own pitiable level.

During anything. The writers know that The Master sells and the BBC won't take any risks by bringing back The Rani, The Monk, Omega or any other reoccurring Time Lord villain from Classic. Hell, even Rassilon became no more threatening than your average side character after Tennant's run.
