Should I watch it?
Should I watch it?
Yes
No
Do it, it's great.
if you like shitty movies, sure go for it
I thought it was not bad.
if you like ff then no. If you are normie who "likes" ff then yes.
Yes. Very good take on Dantes inferno.
i dont know
I skipped watched it until recently because the trailers made it look like your average, bare minimum spooky garbage usually churned out by the likes of Blumhouse. When I finally did watch it I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciated the time and care it took to craft it's lore and world, the actors were all pretty good and it had some memorable scenes. Not an amazing film but certainly one worth giving a watch.
No
Yeah, it's surprisingly good. Thought it was gonna be shit.
Do it for her
You'll only understand it if you watch it upside down.
Didn't like all of the spoopy hell shit. Would have preferred a more grounded horror given the exceptional setting, even something akin to The Descent would have sufficed.
Should have watched it was the bros the other night
Solo? No, probably not worth it
This. Trips of truth.
A fun watch nonetheless
Sure, but you knew what you were gonna get. Also I appreciated how they subtly built the horror at the start.
>a barricaded side tunnel where people disappear
>them looping around
>the lost guy suddenly showing up and being creepy
>the piano
Good stuff, the second half was a bit weaker.
its shit
yuck smellly poopoo movie no watch stinky
it's good
It is the absolute best Tomb Raider movie but the climax is pretty disappointing and the ending is novel but weak.
I enjoyed it, and it made me develop a crush on Perdita Weeks.
The final 10 minutes or so are kind of shit, but everything leading up to it was interesting enough to keep watching.
what is the point of making a ff movie when you're making it like a normal movie with ridiculous amount of cliches in plot, acting, directing?
tell me.
It's solid but not great. It's enjoyable for what it is and the ending is completely refreshing for what the genre has become.
it's a fun watch
What's the point of making any movie, user? Hmm? If you answer that question, you've answered your own.
It's not bad but ultimately pretty forgettable
based mentally impaired poster
Absolutely. If I were to remake it, I would completely drop the horror movie tone and emphasize the tomb raiding adventure elements instead.
Coincidentally made a thread about it without seeing yours.
In other words: God no. Absolute trash.
Watch the Bigfoot found footage movie instead. At least that one doesn't turn to trash untril the very ending.
What is the point of a movie?
>a dangling corpse of someone who apparently hanged himself
>has a bag over the face
>woman takes it away
>person screams into the camera
>jump cut
It's like they just stopped trying in the second half. No idea how stuff like this even gets a pass from every single person working on the movie.
>make everything super quiet
>except for le spooky scenes
God, it's so annoying. The ultimate mark of the shit movie maker.
you wouldn't pass a turing test you fucking moron. That user asked legitimate question and you're spouting something that looks like automated responses that have nothing to do with what he said.
ff movies are only reason why I wake up everyday
What is the point of a movie?
kek
Exactly. To entertain.
Anonymous, signing off.
the poster is way better than the movie but the movie is still ok
>climax is pretty disappointing
agreed. they spent a lot of the film making their way through the cavern, then in 2 minutes sprint she makes it there and back again? Completely removes any horror from the thing if you can just speedrun it.
It's not great but it's watchable and it doesn't shit the bed.
I've seen the film twice and I have no idea wtf you're talking about with the ending. How is the ending refreshing? You mean just coming out of the cave alive with no cliff-hanger jumpscare ending?
yes, it's entertaining that you still don't know what we're even talking about
Eh. Concept was neat but it was immediately squandered into one of the dumbest horror movies I've seen in a while.
A PRISON. IN TURKEY.
Paris is built on millions of skeletons. The catacombs are 2spoopy!
Not him but you sound extremely pretentious.
I think he meant that by acknowledging their sins they're able to take a literal leap of faith back out of hell. I've personally never seen that as a climax for a film before.
Except it completely shit the bed if you aren't mentally disabled.
It immediately stops being spooky the moment it goes superstitutious "oh my god my sins from the past" and "oh my god, I just saw my dead little brother" (which they actually show in the movie instead of just making the characters go crazy and retaining a lick of subtlety. Then it went full garbage witht he car scene and the rest was a lazy joke like
not that poster, but I also found it "refreshing" that it didn't end on edgy note or tweest or some shit, like most of these fluff horrors tend to do
All of that could have been fine ifthey hadn't blown their load too early. That scene with his little brother under them juss came out of nowhere when the movie felt very grounded until that moment. And then i was very grounded again for five minutes, which makes no sense.
It was a fun movie, with a few really cool elements. Campy sure, and not flawless in direction by any means. Still worth a watch though.
What the fuck was his problem?
What are the best movies that came out of the Paranormal Activity found footage craze? I finally got around to watching Chronicle and enjoyed it. I’m going to check AASB out.
It's among the best ff movies. fans of the genre liked it.
someone itt already mentioned Exists, it was nice.
>Catalog
Cool, I liked Willow Creek and I like Bigfoot stuff in general.
>Dude alchemy lmao
I'll admit I wasn't expecting this
shmaladingdong's The Visit, surprisingly
yeah willow creek was ok. maybe you'd also enjoy Evidence (2012) and Cold Ground, similar theme.
I didn't understand the ending.
Did they just end up back in Paris?
just remembered I saved this some time ago
