1. The blood dripping scene was set up on purpose to show how silent Arya was. Her stealth is so good that her footsteps make LESS sound than blood dripping on the ground. You completely missed the point of the scene. This is further established in episode 1 when Jon asked how she snuck on him so silently.
2. She didn't appear out of thin air, she was sprinting silently... you know like an assassin would be able to? Did you not see the hair of the white walker get blown by a burst of wind? It was her sprint silently. Maybe pay attention.
3. This show isn't about the White Walkers. It's about the starks and lanister children and the struggle for the Iron Throne, the white walkers are just one obistale they have to overcome. The White walkers were always a threat but the show has alwayd been about what humans do to each other for love, hate etc. The white walkers were barely in the show, and really it only ever involved one main character (jon.) So I have no idea how you can say the show was about the White walkers unless you just didn't fucknig pay attention.
4. It was pretty obvious by context clues that the signs the white walkers use were the same as the Children of the Forest but changed as a fucked you to their creators. It's basically their upside-down cross.
5. The build up isn't for the fight with the white walkers, its for the iron thrones. The Iron Throne is what this show has always been about. How you dont' know that is beyond me.
There's, I justified it pretty well. You can still not like it, but it's easily justified with just a little thought than the surface level circle jerk of hate people like you pour on it.
You should have known by the needlessly long intro. Common trait of anime and not western shows.
Matthew Powell
>shows always been about the iron throne Then why is the main character up at the wall the farthest away from it as possible? Or what the opening scene the show was about?
Shit was pretty gay, OP you typed this for no reason

Martin himself said that game of thrones was about how internal squables make you miss the greater threat outside, blah blah climate blah and all that. Also, besides logical issues, the scene with Arya simply wasn't earned

im going to agree with and say it was meaningless. no amount of your weird socially needy personality will change that

There is only one villain in both ASOIAF and GOT, and that villain i:
Old Straight White Men
There, simple as that
In the GRRM world, Old Straight White Men have been ruling over Westeros for thousands of years. And what do they have to show for ot? Nothing. Medieval statis. Only suffering and lack of progress, and being involved in opressive systems and petty fights that aren't important in the bigger picture.
They are the wheel Daenerys mentioned. The heroes are a group of diverse people that are one way or another rejected by this society. And, at the end, they will unite against the true danger, the hyperbole of the men that rule Westeros: the White Walkers. They are some of the oldest beings in Westeros, they are pure white, they all look alike and they don't even need women to procreate. They are the end game of the evil Old Straight White Man, and they are coming to kill all life.
I keep meaning to work on my NAS and deleting this whole series. It take up nearly 1TB of space. I don't know if I should though.

The main protagonists are diverse but also include white dudes like John and the onion knight whatever his name was and probably more, I forget. But also it is the 21st century, so women stronk and be nice to coloureds etc.

damn sorry i wrote that. i was laughing super hard about it also, but now its yawn

Yeah, so there inclusion among the good guys isn't based on their sex or race, but because they are underdogs.
Jack Ramirez
>The heroes are a group of diverse people that are one way or another rejected by this society What part of this is making you confused?
Cooper Smith
as with everything in the final season it was the execution rather than the choice itself that was bad
Josiah Mitchell
The point of the show was literally to show the futility of autists fighting over a title while the real threat was lurking. Instead, of dealing with the obvious White Walker problem, they were playing faggoty mind games and weakening each other so the real ignored threat would have a path to wipe everyone out.
There would LITERALLY be no reason to have the zombie horde if they were that easily defeated, that poorly explained and the supposed focus was on who wins the Iron Throne bowl. GoT got really fucking stupid past season 4 but apparently the target audience are actually this stupid.
Juan James
I obviously didn't like Season 8, but I genuinely don't understand why most people hate ot so much?
I mean, couldn't people see that GOT was mediocre at best since season 5? Were they really surprised with the ending? Did they really think it would be good?
What were people expecting?
Hunter Hall
do you understand why poeple love writing sneed in simpsons threads?
Leo Roberts
I'm not, but the idea that GoT takes aim squarely at old white men, doesn't quite compute. The white walker's aren't some allegory for conservative male boomers, they're just generic zombies with a bit of magic backstory and frost. You could just as easily argue it's a story urging us to unite against the horrors of global warming.
Nathan Thompson
People that were shocked over how bad season 8 was are literal 80iq NPCs. You could use most of the complaints about season 8 against Battle of the Bastards, which was just as stupid. The show was very clearly getting worse and more stupid as it went. If it came as a surprise then you might be a retard
Lucas Murphy
its women dude they dont like that their heroine dany was made a villain.
Elijah Ward
like the other guy said, only brainlets were surprised by the shittyness. That being said, you couldn't criticize this show as easily as now, so nerds having been building up all this hate for the show and let it explode like an orgasm. Bookfags, Stannisfags, /got/, incels, Yas Forums and all manner of nerds joined the normies and took a shit on D&D's masterpiece of incompetence and cringe. It was absolute divine justice.

Arya's teleportsbehindyou.gif killing of the ice king could have been redeemed by her trying the exact same thing on The Mountain, but getting killed because The Mountain is unkillable.
Thus perished Arya Stark, she was nobody.

they fucked up the iron throne stuff, so whats your point?

>She didn't appear out of thin air, she was sprinting silently
I saw the making of shots. The Night King is about 7ft and she was like 5 above that. They could have turned the scene and put his back to the tree. That would have made symbolic sense for her to be hiding in the tree and jump out of it.
Instead she appears out of this air and hits his special spot just on accident. Im guessing we say Bran did that.

Adam Nguyen
Ya the show turned into a dumpster fire. The water bottle behind Sams foot made me think they were fucking up on purpose in order to make everything more viral.
I actually liked Emilias performance for the first time after she goes full fire and blood. Everyone other character got assassinated to make them plot devices.
Austin Sullivan
The show went downhill and kept going downhill once Robert Baratheon died
