It sounds like, from his account, that she "grabbed him" as he was attempting to leave the cafe. Then the video is of what happened just as they all went outside. "They chased him out" he says. The bar tender could have seen that part happening at the door. Then the cafe's bouncers restrained him, so the bartender would have obviously known there is a reason for that, which was that he "took her down" outside.
