Yeah no shit. it's the most overrated movie of the past decade and a 6/10 at best. There was absolutely nothing original and aside from a few cool shots there was nothing that made me wanna keep watching. It's so fucking full of itself and im convinced the people that think its a masterpiece probably only like it because their brains are to tiny to enjoy Taxi Driver. For the record I dont usually say shit like this but its so blindingly obvious how overrated this movie is.

Wow, what an astute observation!

My second watch was terrible, the first time I thought it was a hidden masterpiece and I was too fucking dumb to get it, also everyone was coming up with theories and I had no idea what it was all about since it wasn't a surreal movie per se, watched it a second time and the cheesy acting, underdeveloped characters and god awful script became evident, it is still an interesting experiment like Watchmen and beautifully shot, but it remains a somewhat empty movie at its core, 6/10 capeshit needs to be more like this.

Not even close, it had the most generic directing possible and a simple narrative with obvious plot twists that are actually explained to the audience, a more surreal tone would have actually helped the movie a lot but this wasn't so subtle, it went to a more shock value route with emotion>everything else, decent flick but yeah the second or third viewing kinda killed the movie for me
