It's worth mentioning that even Huey has a lot of flaws, such as his paranoia and Messiah complex. The cartoon toned those down compared to the comic strip though.
The Black Dynamite cartoon was great. The only thing that bothered me was how many jokes they recycled from the movie, which isn't that big of a deal since most people don't even know it started out as a movie.

Also, as the other user said, Huey is the opposite extreme to Ruckus but he isn't always right either. Its almost like the show is trying to make you think about your societal views a bit.
