Women are capable about being autistic about an interest. Google "harry potter", and see all the obsessive women who treat it like Yas Forums treats anime.
Magic is mostly male because it's active and anti-social. You're "tricking" people, and it forces you to take an active, aggressive role in a conversation (or act). Women rarely like to take that role. In fact, most men don't like to do it, either.
This may be a brainlet question but has there been any trick that really looked like actual magic was involved?
shin lim uses real magic to make you forget he gave you corona
Shawn Farquar is my favourite for this; both times he's on the show it's nothing but god-tier misdirection and sleight of hand. The "Sherlock Holmes" trick is great because Penn fucking KNOWS most of the trick is decoys and misdirection but gets so wrapped up in that, he assumes the trick is something else entirely and misses the forest for the trees.
For me it's this faggot
