Reminder gigachad posters are homosexual zoomers who dont know how to torrent.
15gb for movies, 6gb for tv shows.
2gb
t: yifychad
unless you have a 50+ inches tv, 2gb is perfect for a movie.

What if I have a 50+ inch dick
t. listens with a single chink headphone in his ear
I bet you can't tell the difference between FLAC and 320, faggot.
do you also have golden wires to your sound system?
>.mkv
I just ordered a 64gb flash drive from amazon to replace the 4gb one I’ve had for 10 years. Yeah I’m fucking based
Sure, if it's HEVC
Show me your blind test results right this instant user
>64 GB
Never gonna make it. Either buy some 2TB disc or don't bother at all.
>download rip
>Audio is absolutely shit and bitcrushed to death
>Shut it off immediately
I'm glad it wasn't a movie I REALLY wanted to watch but I was still disappointed nonetheless
>720p.BrRip.x264.YIFY
Holy based.
The thing is the difference between a yify encode and a decent one is ten times more noticeable audio wise. This is not the same comparison like 320 kbpsMP3 and FLAC, the difference can be heard by your deaf grandma. YIFY tier encodes have literally 96kbps borderline mono fart channels for audio to reduce the file size.
Even the supposed "1080p" versions have absolute dogshit audio, you listened to better quality audio in 2008 when you downloaded dodgy bootleg versions of songs on fucking Limewire.
>1080p? for a fraction of the filesize? thanks based YIFY!
>including the FHD stream in your UHD remux
silly releasers
my nigga
this guy fucks
How do I avoid this? Is there a list of encoders to avoid because it's a shot in the dark on audio.
Except for YIFY. I don't know what they do to their audio but I can't stand it.
The one I have says "RARBG" so I guess I know to avoid them now
just check the audio bitrate and if it's above 300 it's passable
I only download torrents for movies when their filesizes are less than 2 gb
based third world pajeet
>6gb for tv shows.
Per episode?
I'm a first world bengali not pajeet
Is there any notable difference between a 6 GB encode vs a 8-15 GB encode vs a full-on 30-50 GB remux encode?
More so any notable difference between 6-8 GB vs 15 GB as that's what I aim for...
Bhai, balla ni? London bengali chad reporting in
user, just wait until you see how transfer speeds have improved
Hah ami balhu achi
Australian bengali chad here
That depends on your setup ofcourse, both visual and audio wise.
For most student poorfags a 6GB encode would be passable. If you have surround sound than anything below 15GB or so will sound shitty. And if you have a large enough 4K OLED TV anything below 30GB or so encode will have shitty artefact filled dark scenes.
E website amnar lagi bala nai, but fuck it!
Watch on my macbook air user... 4K encodes are amazing quality FYI so just started downloading them yesterday.
So anything below 30 GB is why my 1080p Blu-ray rips have darker scenes? wtf?
Was it just me or was every dvd rip around 700mb?
I only download movies in 720p because I stream them and if it was 1080p it would take up all the room on my monitor and I couldn't see chat.
The perfect setup.
Yes, they were meant to be burned on a CD.
dvds had a 4gb limit though
For something as small as a macbook air you are good with a 15GB encode.
1gb is fine. I just watch on my phone
Are zoomers really this dumb?
Not knowing how to change the screen size window of a video player?
GET REAL
DVDrip, not DVD-R.
But then I have to spend 20 minutes fucking with click-drag to get the exact same aspect ratio on the smaller size. So much easier to just get it in 1280x720
>zoomer
No, unironic boomer
>20 minutes
jesus christ
im sorry user you are literally mentally deficient
thanks
but so anything below 30 GB is why my 1080p Blu-ray rips have darker scenes? wtf?
this
>10 sneeders
I once hid my ssd too well one time when I was going on vacation and I can't find it anymore (benzo-damaged memory). The only downside to using a stick instead of a disc is how slow they are.
A 128GB stick is all you need to transfer your movies from your vpn hackermachine to your unthrottled battlestation.
sane
trying too hard
Should never download the 2GB RARBG versions, they're all fucking trash.
30gb 1080p > 30 gb 4k
