Just how big was it?
Can any oldfags here recall the O.J trial?
It was like a television event with normie tards literally getting home from work and watching the courtroom shit like it was a mini series
Watching Naked Gun always felt odd afterwards.
I was in middle school French class when they read the verdict. The whole school basically shut down for it. The black girls in my class, who were failing miserably btw, got up and whooped and hollered.
This show is underrated true crime kino on this board probably because it was popular with normies. It actually accurately captured how big of a happening it was.
>If it doesn't't fit, you must acquit
Name a more kino phrase in trial history.
>Just how big was it?
youtube.com
Was in elementary school, remember seeing news coverage of it basically daily for every day going on 2 years. Everyone assumed he was dead-to-rights guilty.
I was not but a chillen when it happened, but I still knew all kinds of shit about the case and the players involved. When I finally got around to watching , I was quite familiar with the entire thing. Very well done, btw.
Turn on CNN.
Replace every mention of The Rona with O.J.
That's what it was like.
Did he do it?
It was bizzare. Racial tensions were insanely high and the cops were shown to be corrupt racists, so OJ became a symbol for the black community writ large.
So there was a weird multi layered cultural drama playing out in America early 90s. There was a literal race war in the streets of LA, and a figurative race war playing out in courtrooms and the TV.
It was in all the papers, the news coverage, tv shows, talk shows , radio, music lyrics...everything you can think of.
You cant talk about the 90s without including some element of the LA riots and OJ verdict.
wasn't a big deal at all
just like the flu
i wasn't old enough to care about it but i remember every adult was obsessed with it
His book is literally just him admitting he did it and telling you how with a paper thin veneer of being hypothetical to cover his ass. Apparently what really set him off was Ron Goldman pretending he knew karate.
oh nooooo who will think of the drunk driving domestic abusers
he was innocent you bastard :)
damn, those gloves don't fit at all
The judge was really into hour glasses on his desk. Fucking weirdo
Ridiculously big. All the media talked about from the bronco chase to the end of the trial.
those fucking gloves fit perfectly
it was crazy. i had a stay at home mom and she would just watch it all day every day. also when the verdict was read we watched it in spanish class (and everybody in the school did as well) and even though i went to a 98% white suburban school people ran out into the hall and cheered just because it was so unexpected i think, not because they were actually happy he got away with murder.
i was a kid and didn't know what was going on
i just remember my gpa and gma watching it
i thought murder was incredibly rare, and that's why it was so important
Watch this.
Are American juries the most stupid on the planet?
>if the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit
>they literally fell for that rhyme.
If I was an Americuck and I was put on trial, I’d want a trial by judge if I knew I was innocent, and a trial by jury if I knew I was guilty.
everyone in the courtroom turned into a celebrity. i remember late night talk shows freaking out about every little thing like the woman lawyer getting her hair did.
leno milked this shit hardest every night
youtu.be
looks pretentious as fuck
Imagine if the whole nation went nuts fantasizing that a black guy committed a crime.
it was a huge risk wether or not it would create reasonable doubt, but it worked
did user learn a new word?
“If the Cunny feels funny, you’re money honey!”
t. Me when I finally get caught for cunny posting
You realize the glove wasn't the only thing that led to him being found innocent, right? They fucking had the lead detective testify and refuse to answer any questions.
Did the police fuck up the initial crime scene and the investigation?
>wow look american flag but blood wooow he was MADE IN AMERICA
So deep user, wow, very big brain high IQ.
They didn't fall for the rhyme, there were niggers on the jury that refused to convict a nigger because he was a nigger. Niggers don't care about law or reason, they're animals and should all be killed.
It's well known nowadays that the jury said they were gonna find O.J. not guilty no matter what to make up for/get revenge for the Rodney King incident a few years prior.
HAHAHAHAHA
LOOK MOM I SAID THE N WORD ON Yas Forums!!!!!
ARENT I SO FUNNY AND ORIGINAL AND EDGY??????
HAHAHAHAHA LOOK IM GONNA SAY IT AGAIN!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I HATE BLACK PEOPLE FOR NO REASON!!!! ISNT THAT EDGY AND COOL????
They literally acquitted him so that there weren't riots like after the Rodney King trial, where the police officers were found not guilty. It was a miscarriage of justice just so that the city of L.A. woudn't have to deal with nigs chimping out all over South Central. OJ had the motive, the method and the opportunity, and there was a good deal of physical evidence. And he also fled when they tried to arrest him. KEK. He did it.
In the drama miniseries with Cuba Gooding Jr. they show scenes where the defence and prosecution teams spent ages choosing jurors.
I’m genuinely astonished that this is allowed to happen. Either go for a randomly selected jury, or go for a judge trial. The lawyers shouldn’t be allowed to select who they present their case to.
>he's offended reading nigger on Yas Forums
>he can't even type it out he types n word
That was funny.
>The lawyers shouldn’t be allowed to select who they present their case to.
Just one of the hundreds of ways in which our justice system is flawed. We make laws, but then arbitrarily choose how to police them and try them in court. Then the sentences are arbitrary, too. KEK.
Don't let your memes just be dreams

>be woman
>commit crime
>slap on wrist if anything
>be man commit crime
>years in prison career gone life over
The law is a joke this is a clown world honk honk.
Fucking niggers, man
>Just how big was it?
Best soap opera on TV. I can even remember the judge (Judge Ito? Some chink dude) breaking down and weeping at one point. Absolute circus.
The Dancing Itos were Kino.
too big for his hands
This.
>pretentious
Kys
see
It was as big as Coronavirus is right now. seriously.
Fuck I forgot about all those businesses around the world that were shut down and all those economies that saw huge losses. It's crazy how some people use words without knowing their meaning.
It was a dominate story in most of the world.

biggest trial ever, but the verdict was sealed the moment they moved the venue. All the rest was just pantomime.
kek, fucking dumb euro thinks he could fix the whole system, "if only they would listen to me!"
>Just how big was it?
grew up in the hood and teachers would come in with african daishiki dresses and hats and just talk to the kids about the case instead of teaching, some clever kids would get the teachers riled up cause it would basically mean a free day
This. I remember my teacher spent half an hour of our history class talking about it with glee and she was itching to get home for the news. This was in London. Shit was great!

Go back
AtheismIsUnstoppable was in the audience, smelling a womans' hair who was sitting in front of him.
>It was in all the papers, the news coverage, tv shows, talk shows , radio, music lyrics...everything you can think of.
now who controls all of these and has the power to manipulate and sway public opinion and who would benefit from racial relationships going bad between blacks and whites to further their eternal agenda?
hmmm....
If I remember correctly, the judge is the only major person in the trial that never wrote a book about it
Here’s something nobody ever talks about.
Now, everybody just laughs about how guilty he was. Even black people freely admit how guilty he was.
Back then? All the blacks were in full DINDU NUFFIN mode. They were all over TV defending OJ.
Nah, it was that waitress dude, drug dealer gone bad. OJ could just move on he was rich, the drug dealer had already killed another women in a similar manner.
What are the essentials of the OJ cinematic universe?
I’ve seen
>Made in America
>People vs OJ
>June 17th, 1994
I was in 4th grade and at school when they announced the verdict over the intercom.
In hindsight it seems kind of strange.
why are you typing like that?
There are so many biases. It’s retarded when you are on a jury selection,
>are you biased against gun owners,
>are you biased against truck drivers
>have you had dealings with the police
>are you biased against x races
Judge trials are the worst though. It’s not like TV where they are independent and check the state, they see these cops and D.A.s every day. Get to make friends, and are generally biased toward the Prosecution, no matter how currupt the local cops and lawyers are.
He was either off or on some meds that changed his hands. Any alcoholic can attest to the change in hand size when you're dehydrated to a certain extent.
It was the biggest televised event of the 90s. It was basically all people talked about at the time. It was like OJ Simpson or you talked about John Bobbitt getting his dick chopped off (this was before that was fashionable). Everyone had an opinion on the case, and I knew multiple kids who followed it obsessively. Everyone also knew most the details to the case. We all made jokes about it nonstop. Hell, there were fucking pogs made out of it. I was into MAD Magazine at the time and it was just nonstop OJ Simpson jokes. Late night was the same. SNL was full of OJ jokes. It was just the event of the year. Nonstop coverage on television. I'm pretty sure even Animaniacs and few other kids cartoons made jokes about OJ. I was on the internet at the time, and pretty much every discussion was OJ Simpson or how OJ should kill Barney.
At school, we watched the verdict on a TV they wheeled into the classroom. I think the excuse was it was a historic event but really teachers wanted to see it and kids wanted to see it.
People went nuts over it. Gonna say it just outright: pretty much everyone agreed he was guilty unless they were extreme contrarians, but you had people (mostly blacks) who wanted to see him walk because he was black. You have to keep in mind that Rodney King was two years prior. LA riots were a year prior.

The thing I'd compare it to right now is the coronavirus: the absolute obsession and non-stop talking about the coronavirus is pretty well exactly how it was with OJ. I'd compare it to 9/11 as well. It was just a massive event. And it pretty much led to 24 hour news, which absolutely destroyed journalism.
I fucking hate elementary school teachers in retrospect. My teachers rolled in a tv so they could watch the verdict. It was weird.
The Naked Gun
>This was in London.
Holy fuck what a shit hole. You people had nothing else better to do? In London of all places. That's like saying "oh yeah I was in paris but all I could think about was the kardashians". Fucking pathetic.
