Better Call Saul
you just know
>"Something Unforgivable" is the tenth and final episode of the fifth season of Better Call Saul and the fiftieth episode of the series altogether.
>Synopsis: Jimmy and Kim make a sideways move that takes a serious turn; Nacho gets closer to the cartel.
Sideways move = framing Nacho Varga for working with Mike
Serious turn = Nacho's father is executed for it
Nacho gets closer to the cartel = He is kidnapped and interrogated by the cartel.
:)
why would Saul be scared of Lalo in Breaking Bad tho?
Because in this hypothetical situation where the prediction is correct, he would think that Lalo found out Saul tricked him and has sent two goons to kill him in the desert. It would explain why he kept screaming it was Ignacio and not him that "did" something wrong and that he was a "friend of the cartel."
Are you calling her a semen demon?
goddamn this makes so much sense it has to happen
>ywn an office lady who's socially awkward w/ relationships because she focused too much on her career
lydia oh lydia hnnnnngg
Nacho IS working with mike though
What was she thinking with visiting him
But Nacho is also working with Lalo and Saul. He's caught up in the middle between all factions... and that's not a great position to be in as a hired muscle.
Jimmy knows about his association with Mike and knows that it's being orchestrated by a "third party" as Mike said in S05E07, it's only the cartel who doesn't know. He would be framing Nacho (with the truth, mind you) by manufacturing obvious evidence that would tip off Lalo/the cartel of his double cross.
her eyes are so good
Lalo just about has to be dead without Saul knowing it by BB. I could swear I remember Gus taking a shot at Hector about him having no family left or something.
yeah but that was later in the series.
Lalo might die without Saul knowing, or Lalo might die in between the two BrBa episodes. Saul mentions Lalo in Season 2 of BrBa. Gus talks to Hector about all Salamancas being dead in Season 4.
>licking Lydia's feet while she stutters and mumbles neurotically over what you're doing, trying to deny the naughty pleasures she is experiencing and hiding her face behind a throw pillow in between utterances and the occasional bated breath
>D-does this really turn you o-on? I'vebeenwearingheelsallday, t-they're sweaty...
lalo marries kim and takes her last name. therefore Hector was still the last salamanca
there's no way they'd allow him to die offscreen at this point i feel like nacho is gonna cross the border and suicide mission him after he kills his dad or something
She has every reason to think Jimmy is dead atm and it probably took a lot for her to not get the cops directly involved. She clearly is fairly naive about this realm of cartel business and really has no idea how much shit she's just landed herself in.
Why didn't Jimmy bullshit about the trip?
>offscreen
No, we already had a scene in Season 4 that took place during Breaking Bad. They can easily show us more.
Did you miss their convo a few episodes ago where he swore to always tell her everything if they get married otherwise she leaves him
retarded episode
>hey you're a lawyer who isn't mexican, you're going to go collect 7 million in your shitty car in mexico, in the middle of nowhere
>whoops you got ambushed by 5 dudes
>too bad the cousins who dropped you off the money just fucked off to nowhere straight
>oh well at least mike is here because of some retarded gus plan
>mike brings absolutely no backup
Full transparency was a clause in the marriage. As a side note, Kim would not have survived the journey and her almost insisting on coming was rough.
Jimmy asked if he knew this was gonna happen and Mike said no, if he had known, he would have brought more guys.
>>mike brings absolutely no backup
Does he need it?
Who /watched every episode from S1E1 as it aired/ here?
Did you see the piles of money the cartel had in reserve? 7 mil is like pocket cash. Gus knew this and didn't think there would be a cartel rat that squeaked and caused all the mayhem.
FUCK CHUCK
whats he looking at?
I feel like it would have been a better episode if Nacho was there with Mike saving Saul, and they could have added some dialogue instead of wallowing in the desert for the next 40 minutes of the episode.
o/
>Gus knew this and didn't think there would be a cartel rat that squeaked
OR Gus was who he called in the first place, who then set all this up with his Mexico-side guys but without telling Mike so Mike and Jimmy would both go through an ordeal together and become more resolute in fighting for their respective "causes" and/or ingratiate Saul to Gus long term.
>salad monkey blood
>salad monkey money
Is Salamanca posting the next great meme?

Interesting idea but like both these niggas almost died, isn't that too extreme for having just nursed a suicidal Mike back to health?
I was very happy that Mike didnt yell at saul and he knew exactly what he was trying to do by doing that and using himself as bait. I can easily see in another other media Mike misunderstanding his intentions and yelling at him and flipping his shit at first as a sort of clue-in to the audience, but it's all done silently, and I think that's just another great trait of this show's writing and direction.
Can anyone fill me in on what Mike told Saul when they spent the night in the desert? I never got the chance to watch the scene and by the time I got to watch it all I heard was Saul not wanting to use the reflective blanket.
>video not available in your country
IT'S FUCKING BEHIND THE SCENES SHIT WHY THE FUCK IS IT GEO LOCKED.
Great conversation, about how Kim is "in the game" now that Jimmy told her what he was doing out there.

>da baws can sock me
Oh it was excruciating stuff. He basically reems out Saul for telling Kim about his underworld dealings and the implication is that she is now beyond anyone's help because she's initiated in to the game.
Mike has always been a guy who does his research and plans based on that, and I can't help but think having to plan about potentially rescuing a single man from attack in the middle of the Mexican desert is the type of thing that Mike would at the very MINIMUM, have him bring 1 person for backup, in another vehicle with weaponry food, water and medical supplies, and with him and this guy having a sat phone. Even if all that person did provide a secondary pickup/rescue if Mike believed he/Saul were no longer in danger.
Would actually be believable if Gus just didn't foresee it all going quite so pear-shaped. Something more like "Oh yeah I totes sent Mike to save you, don't you want to work for me? I'll give you big bucks and protection for Kim if you do."
Mike went on a stakeout by himself in season 2 and tried to kill Hector. This seems to fall in line with his previous decisions.
>ra/tv/ermin are so starved for touch they think putting your arm around a female acquaintance is a sexual advance
Wasn't that his own personal issue? Not a job for a client (basically).
>he'd be fine with some guy putting his arm around his woman like that
The lingering hug in the beginning of the episode was rough Bros.
>his
>it's a mike and saul walk through the desert to the music of slim shady episode
Even still, Mike has always seemed his most comfortable working by himself. I don't want to delve too much in to BrBa but he hates having to work with Jesse on stakeouts even though in the end he grows a strong bond with him.
This episode is probably gonna win a shit ton of awards and it's gonna make the nothing happens posters throw a tantrum lmfao
>I was very happy that Mike didnt yell at saul and he knew exactly what he was trying to do by doing that and using himself as bait.
I felt like they fucked up having Mike shooting at a speeding vehicle. Like, clearly the plan was/should've been baiting the guy out of the vehicle. Like, really basic stuff for an operator like Mike and the kind of thing he's pointed out to others a million times over the course of the two shows.
>it's a camping episode
But how do you bait him out of the car?
>shootout in like the first 15 minutes
>nothing happens
It's not though. It's the song Eminem stole the beat from, 'I Got The...' by Labi Siffre.
But he didn't want Jimmy to get shot or run over by the guy
