rewatching sg1 for the first time in a while i'm on season 4 and pleasantly surprised how much continuity even the early seasons had.
almost all the story arcs were dealt with and had a good payoff.
also the early seasons are so comfy. the best ones are when they take place in normal small american town (filmed in canada lol).

Great up to season 7. 8 is good but fat RDA phones it in. 9, 10 change half the cast and have a shit villain arc. Mostly comfy, but a few dud episodes here and there. Gets a lot more star trekky as time goes on.

I really enjoy the S6 Prometheus being a kind of shitty Earth-made reverse engineered Goa'uld tech ship before they get overpowered in the later season
it's a nice payoff after being teased about Earth trying to capture a Ha'tak or any kind of spaceship for years
