Collateral

its a quick draw manuever that he adapted to a modern pistol

That's Last Samurai, but Collateral is pretty good.

At close range yes.

>that he adapted
So it is not something regular, is something unique that he did?

It also keeps max off center all night so he isn't thinking of ways to save himself beyond compliance.

who was in the wrong here?

Two of them are in the wrong country.

he did tho, leaving max after the accident

Have you ever seen something or someone and felt that it just shouldn't be this way? That how something was a distorted manifestation of how things ought to be? Almost like a perversion of the natural order, something like that.

I recently made a friend, a real loser. Pathetic. But this person was always polite and attentive to me. This person appreciates my take on things and my nature. I didn't like how this person was stuck around toxic people and that my friend was defenseless. Even before I thought about the utility of this person for my benefit it irritated me how just how vulnerable and weak my friend was/is.

Months ago:
>Friend: "I work in the hood."
>Me: "So you carry a weapon, right?"
>Friend: "No..."
>Me: "Why the fuck not? Are you stupid?"
>Friend: "I guess so..."
>Me: "Here. Get one."
Then I sent a list of knives I picked out because I am doing baby steps first (gun later).

My friend was shocked that I gave a fuck about something like that, basic well-being and safety, that kind of thing.

I am repulsed by overt weakness but the other traits my friend possesses was enough to make me notice and seek friendship.

I am not Max, obviously, but I intend to use my friend. I want someone in my corner. My friend is in love with me now and is aware of all this. I will ensure my friend becomes a stronger person.

I'm not sure I have a reason besides I strongly felt someone like my friend should not be so fucked up and "asleep."

It feels good to me knowing my friend carries a knife now.

love that angle and framing that highlights Vincents gun is his penis
