Macgyver

Literally never. Cooper’s friendships with Harry and Albert are the leading symptoms in Twin Peaks’ chronic comfiness

No, OP, I think yours is the champ, but these two are strong contenders

damn that series has a god tier soundtrack.

What did Yas Forums think of this version?

nope. he's the eternal optimist.

lynch broke him in season 3, and it's absolute kino

who else rewatching this bad boy while quarantined? almost done with season 1

Began before quarantine. Already on Part 12.

I really enjoyed how quickly they became friends and how the show avoided the tired cliche "This case is under my jurisdiction now".

How can Twin Peaks be so comfy bro’s?

So likable he became a meme in Japan

Coop is such a sweet boy

I remember once seeing a Yas Forums post that broke down in detail why he's so likable. I wish I could find it again.

Warm and fuzzy sentimentality, quirky eccentricity and goofy comedy clashing with sincerely dark horror, violence, and themes of insanity.

Comedy and horror/violence have always made good bedfellows, they enhance each other. It's difficult to do it right, but Lynch is a master of it.

I've never connected why I love this book so much until this moment.

Dougie Jones

Hehe yeah him and cooper are about equal.

Is it Billy Bob Thornton?

is the protagonist like cooper?

get out

just finished s2 last night and
>ending on a cliffhanger
why

Nigga, you have S3 already out. Imagine waiting 2 decades for this shit.

Watch Fire Walk With Me + The Missing Pieces and then Season 3.

this. People who hate Dougie are somehow the same people who loved S1-2 Cooper. Cooper IS Dougie.

Suspiciously so, I'm thinking it's a ripoff. Or at least heavily inspired
don't bother though, it's not very good desu

>why
To force the executives of the network to pick up the show for a 3rd season and also to say fuck you but it didn't work

>there's people that waited for 25 years

whats this from?

what sort of sex do you think coop likes?

Cooper should be IMO goal for anyone in terms of personality. Genuinely good person (which hurts more that he got fucked in the very end).

>tfw the most likeable protagonist in the history of kino ends his days a broken shell of his former self, having failed to defeat evil and is forced to wander a bleak unreal netherworld alternate reality in total fear and confusion until the end of time or reality collapses in on itself

i never liked the interpretation of the return ending where cooper had too much hubris trying to save laura or whatever. cooper doesnt come off as a guy with hubris in the original run so that interpertation confused me

Its just the dream ending and boring, bleak reality replacing it.

and on a meta level Lynches deep seated buttmad at the entire notion of tv show revivals as culture dies and eats itself to stay alive a little while longer.

Kyles been doing videos as Coop for months and there has been rumours of a second movie to put a bow on it all.
>yfw episode 8 but 4 hours long
>twitter.com/kyle_maclachlan/status/1232024898970640384?lang=en

I agree but that's Frost's take on it.
Don't give me hope, I can't do this anymore.

>doesnt come off as a guy with hubris in the original run
lol

so, the mystery guest is definitely Madchen Amick, right?

Attached: based shelly.png (768x574, 589.97K)

Well they better hurry up before Lynch keels over

Oh he's going to reach a ripe old age of senility and incontenence on spite alone.

based and coop pilled, bros

Cooper is my spirit animal and when live seems rough i ask myself what would Dale Cooper do.

my son is named Cooper Dale, my wife went for it because her dad's name is dale, but i don't like dale as a first name.
he will be raised in coop's image

Attached: maxresdefault (12).jpg (1280x720, 60.3K)

I'm in love with Sheryl Lee

He does though. He went into the lodge when he wasnt ready and got trapped there

I just started this show, I really like it from the pilot, but I'm wondering, is season 2 as bad as everyone says? people say that you should watch the first 2 eps then the finale but that sounds like it's missing too much, what do?

It's only the second half that's bad. But yes its quality is not exaggerated. Its crucial to watch though as it sets up the finale (which is amazing), and that in turn sets up the movie and season 3. So watch it and dont skip anything

you'll know the bad ones when you get there

alright, thanks, does the third season suffer from the same issues?

No, not at all. Its kino from start to finish

Season 3 is pure KHNO. Just understand it is not about the town of twin peaks. Its about Cooper and the origins of the evil.

obviously Laura Dern

coop is the peak performance male

season 2 loses a lot of direction and momentum, and it can become difficult to remain invested after a certain point. I still enjoy those episodes, but you have to start thinking of it as just a goofy soap opera with characters you like, because for a good 10+ episodes that's literally all it is. don't skip them, but don't feel bad if you start fucking around on your phone during them either.
