ITT we continue discussing a seminal cult classic and one of the most subtly influential horror films of the 2000s and all time: Ginger Snaps.
This is going to be the fashion for the 2020s. We are only getting started here

Based, sign me up. Talk about Ginger Snaps too though.
tranny thread
this film was infamously anti trans and was banned from multiple countries on release for its shocking content
Stop it user, stop it please
We've had enough, we've all watched it and we all agree it's wank
Can we consider American Mary as an extension to GS-core?

>not Vérszomj

rarest black hoodie Brigitte
These threads are not for the rabble.
>we've all watched it
I totally believe you, user
I don't think so, user. It has nothing to do with ginger snaps
>not das Biest in dir
>not Entfesselt
schwach
I did user, you're vastly overrating it.
It explores similar feminist themes through an allegorical horror lense just like GS does, which alone gives it more reason to be GS-core than Da Vinci's fuckin Inquest. Plus Katie is in it.
lófaszt, nehogy már
what did Ginger mean by
>He's found you AGAIN?
Something had happened before the events of Unleashed? I want answers
a world of midquel possibilities infinitely more exciting than anything in GS3
yeah it's made clear the werewolf has been following her for a while
Daym, that made me want to see a prequel to the sequel so badly bros
Ich verstand doch gar nicht

Hello? Yes, I'll accept the basedness of these threads.
*sighs*
it's another "anons call each other based' episode
and that's based
u beat me to this by like 10 seconds
I suspect that motel room wasn't the first one Brigitte stayed in ever since she left Bailey Downs for good
then maybe it's simply not your kind of movie is all
that's how the history was made
>this is actually a cult classic
I don't get it. All I can find on Wikipedia is wank about how it's a feminist movie. Is that the only reason anyone likes it? Because if you're not innit for the politics, it just seems like Twilight but with more wolves.
Literally zero politics in the movie, user
How do you think Becky is gonna defeat G*d in the series finale of SPN? Stab him with a knife like Ginger?
Well, have you tried watching it? Feminism is like 10% of the film's content. In fact, it explores a whole lot of themes such as adolescence, sisterhood, body horror and so on. Give it a try, it's a genuine masterpiece
The two mains are unlikable cunts and the whole plot boils down to "Ginger kills some people, gets killed, is a ghost, the end". The second and third movie especially are awful, and the third really feels like a made-for-TV Twilight-but-all-werewolves shitfest.
Those full lips...
Man...
>I read the wikipedia article and still don't get the movie!
lol
I thought you were meming waifufags, I've watched it yesterday and it's surprisingly fresh and enjoyable. Thanks Yas Forums, for suggesting that and The Terror.
I'm going to watch the second part right now.
BTW as a kid I literally thought all women had their periods on the full moon for some reason, so the allegory that they used really feels quite apt to me.
i just the watched the first film last night, and it was surprisingly good. Ran a little long imo but i was a fun watch. The only thing i knew about the film going in was the title and a short webm of the tampon buying scene.
Can anyone recc some other kino indie 00s movies? genre doesnt matter
based. this is the main reason we do these threads. ultimately we just want more people to know about this kino
>I'm going to watch the second part right now
Mein neger. Don't forget to report back when you're done
Yeah, the sooner people realize that Ginger Snaps being good is not a meme the better. Excuse the waifufagging and shitposting in the threads, though. They help keep things chug along when discussions are sparse.
Not just to know, but to understand it, learn its brilliance
based Sue poster
bumping for reccs
Threadly reminder that Ginger and Brigitte canonically have a brother.
Why they included him and gave him several scenes no one knows.
thats me
It's just a neighbor boy, user
you're confused
GO SET UP YOUR DISCORD YOU FUCKING COUPLE OF AUTISTIC FAGGOTS
absolutely shocked this hasnt been filtered by jannies with your shit fucking image every fucking day
tranny hands typed this post
Visions Of Suffering - Underground Russian horror. Very surreal
Salvage (2006) - The one about the teen girl reliving her own horrific murder again and again.
The Poughkeepsie Tapes - Creepy serial killer found footage.
Pontypool - Interesting take on Zombie stuff.
From Hell - Not indie in the least. But unfairly forgotten Jack The Ripper masterpiece.
OH MY GOD
you killed Norman!
this movie freaked me out when I found out the actresses in the movie was 19 and 23 like they looked like fucking early highschoolers like 15-16. fucking weird
Norman was a casualty of war, noble way to go.
I'm sorry film discussion threads offend you, tranny. Maybe you should try another board, this one is for Television & Film discussions.
grab this
wait til you watch the second movie and see an 18 year old who legitimately looks 12
I'm kinda glad Ginger killed that little barking machine. Small dogs are the most annoying
hang in there Bee
In my 28 years old i never watched this movie, should i watch it Yas Forums?
>looked like fucking early highschoolers like 15-16
But it's cool because child actors aren't as good in acting as adults
There's no going back afterwards. You need to be sure you're ready. The autism it might invoke in you is not one everyone can handle.
Maybe Brigitte should have participated in gym classes a bit more
It don't matter how old you are. Go on, you won't regret this
