It still boggles my mind how the first 10 minutes are absolute zombie horror kino and the rest of the movie is absolute garbage.

intro is overrated

its good but not as amazing as everyone claims

Nah it IS that good. Well shot, well directed - though the motor boat kill was silly as shit - and it allows for anyone who ever watches it to ask themselves what they would do, what was right, what they would've done differently; to debate with other people about the scene.

Best zombie scene ever. Period

Am I the only one?

Danny Boyle directed that part

It is amazing you contrarian faggot
It's pure terror as you watch a normal guy just running for his life, acting on pure survival instinct and fear, being full of adrenaline while everything around him turns to shit in minutes

>tfw lanklet
>tfw running literally rattles my bones since there's no muscle to cushion them
Would I die day 1?

Why is he smiling?

based autist

>when that doss cunt forgets to bring the khyaardz again

The rest of the movie isn't bad.

This movie sucked dick compared to the first one.

Motorboat propellers will fuck your shit trust me

>what would i do?
Probably freeze up with fight or flight and be eaten like 99% of the population. Don had more survival instinct than most people, probably why he survived.

Propellers will fuck you up, lost my right big toe to one.

I agree, because everybody would have made the same choice in his position
That's why it's absolute KINO

fitlered
WE GOT A CODE PLEB!

that's just all zombie movies

utter garbage the lot of them

my butthole inverted during this scene

so im guessing 28 months later is never happening right

only non-bugman in this thread

the rest of you faggots should head back to r*ddit

it's a competently directed scene of a guy running away. it's not citizen kane you fucking retards

I really liked the start. I've never watched the entire film, I simply got too bored during the middle part.

Yeah instead we're getting the prequel, 28 minutes later.

>it's not citizen kane you fucking retards
Who the fuck said it was?

Why did he only direct that part and not the whole film?

>amazing, incredible, awesome, etc
Learn to speak without being hyperbolic.

rent free

Why is he treated like the bad guy when his dumb bitch wife refused to listen to him?

Was he supposed to fucking lay down and die for her retardation?

that shit completely scared the shit out of me, the idea of a fucking horde of those niggers blitzing towards you with no regard for anything else. I have yet to find anything remotely similar to that intro that is a half decent movie

All those mid 00s zombie flicks where every zombie became usain bolt were kino

>first half is a genuinely great zombie horror movie
>turns into low budget trashy exploitation shit
Not sure why you expected more from the sequel

The scene where the advanced mutant lets the dogs loose in I Am Legend got me pretty tense. Unless you mean specifically intros.

if you're looking for a film with a similar level of intensity that is actually a good movie, try Children of Men

Anyone else get sad as shit from Renner's death?

Thanks reddit

Black baby being the savior of mankind just doesn't let me take the movie seriously, bro. Visually it's gritty kino but the premise was laughable.

good time has a similar tension but it holds it throughout the whole runtime.

What about the pre-prequel ? 28 seconds later
>Starring me and your mom

oh fuck off. The rest of the movie isn't that bad, not at all. The only problem is that it doesn't really compare to the first one.

A prequel titled 28 hours later would actually be pretty cool. It would show all the crazy shit happening that led to 28 days later and before anybody actually knows what's going on.

I realized something here... if the first half of 28 Days Later had been combined with an extended version of the sequel's intro so to speak, you'd have a solid kino all the way through. Spend the movie establishing the narrative and introducing characters and then end it them being forced to make "hard" decisions instead of MUH INSANITY for an ending.

If the movie focused more on the Hawkeye and Begbie, it would be kino
Instead it focused on 2 dumb ass fucking kids who fucked everything up (and still survived in the end despite being completely retarded)

>thinking the baby being black has anything to do with the overall plot of no human being able to have offspring.
Your thought is laughable.

No because I wouldn't have been a cuck like him

its an obvious metaphor for immigration in europe you brainlet.

>blacks
>human
you are quite the jester.

>meme adhd camera movements to seem exciting
kek, trash

Yeah you would've just died minute 1 of the outbreak

This. If stabilized it would've looked comical.

>NOOOOOO STOP USING STRENGTHS OF THE MEDIUM TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!

>Intro is directed by Danny Boyle
>Rest of the movie is directed by a guy who had made only one feature film

Truly mind boggling...

...

daily reminder opening scene is quote-unquote "kino" bc it was directed by auteur danny boyle. the rest of the movie was directed by some literally who horror guy. possibly spanish.

>Removable chalk-powder graffiti was sprayed in locations around London and Birmingham featuring the web address www.ragevirus.com. However, the web address was found to be unregistered and was quickly snapped up. The advertising agency who made the mistake agreed to purchase the rights to the domain name for an undisclosed sum

kek

>not liking the initial outbreak scene where the military tries to contain but it gets so crazy they can't tell the infected apart from the people in the crowd and get orders to shoot everyone

that was pure kino

tfw we will never get a Top Gear zombie film.

no it was american "guerrilla cam" style trash that had no impact because everybody in the audience knew exactly what was going to happen.
The end of weeks with the shaky paris shot is kino, ecksplozions are not kino

What's the point of continuing on if it's black though?

hawkeye being torched alive was kino

yeah, and people forget the night-vision subway scene. It was kino as well
That's about it though

these two scenes are also kino, i will admit.

There were plenty of kino shots in the rest of the movie
