she was fine and i liked her well enough, but the crusher/picard love interest stuff had more depth to it than anything she brought to the table. also a lot of personality was redundant since she's kind of similar to picard in a lot ways. i didn't necessarily want crusher back badly, but i wasn't really sad to see pulaski go either.

She had the best character arc in season 2, starting off as bossy but warming up. Didn't like Data at the beginning but learnt to trust him, only mofo to drink poison tea with Worf as well. If she had been in season 3 she definitely would have seduced Riker.
Apparently the actress didn't enjoy the role because she wanted more character oriented stories and there was too much technobabble for her. That's the official story at least, I don't believe a word of it.

I love the character of Picard and how Stewart played him. I lost a lot of respect for Stewart because of Picard the series. It's obvious he's still jaded after all these years towards Roddenberry and being type cast for the few years he couldn't get work after the show.
