Yep.
Casino Royale is the best bond film. Unfortunately it has the worst bond girl
Absolutely
>hating Eva's prime jew jugs
Aw fuck off
Why can’t Bond themes be exciting anymore? The past few have been moody and low-key to the point of boredom.
Do people not enjoy Bond camp anymore?
definitely good too
>nipples get hard during the mouth to mouth scene
Do you think actors ever fug on set
Bond was pure camp for 3 straight decades, it got old
Here's another one that I like from the more recent Bonds
youtube.com
I think them going the opposite direction of a pin-up come to life for the Bond films kinda loses its soul.
yeah it's weird I like Brosnan as Bond the most but don't consider any of his movies as my favorite
Nipples harden in response to the cold.
Her nipples were hard because she was just underwater.
It's so black I honestly thought this wasn't a Bond thread
Bond camp is fun in moderation, but once you become such a contrarian that you’re defending the late-stage Moore films as “true” Bond like so many of the 007 threads we’ve had, you’ve gone overboard.
YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE
Seriously
Exploding pens and laser watches are fun every once in a while, but calling Moonraker 'peak Bond kino' is just trying to be difficult
the strong low-vector outlines for organic objects looks primitive and dated by today's standards but otherwise still great.
Is much rather watch A view to a kill over any shitty Craig film
Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve - this had so much potential. Would’ve been the best bond opening for me.

came here to post this 10/10
No that would be The World is Not Enough

That's not For Your Eyes Only

Wrong, all of you.

It's between this an Skyfall. The boomers dumping older movie's intros with chicks in black silhouette doing dumb art shit looks like amateur hour.
One of the great themes.
>dude i don't like naked women on screen i wanna see Daniel craig's ugly mug
get a load of this queer

>best intro song
Better question what is the best end credits song?

why they not hard in the beginning then

I'ma have to go with OP.
>Unfortunately it has the worst bond girl
Oh, fuck off. Eva Green is a stunner.
It always triggers my autism when Bond's gun isn't pointed straight when he fires the heart out of it.
Worst Bond film actually
Recoil.
I was 16 when this came out and jacked it to the Italian bitch in this movie loads. I had nothing else.
Imagine not posting the best.
Waaay too slow and not particularly better than Sam Smith's song. Nobody is more cynical than a Hollywood suit and I'm not surprised they went with the other song.
Radiohead is overrated, but Sam Smith's horseshit is not a Bond theme.
You're all wrong.
youtube.com
It's definitely a shitty song and in an ideal world they would have considered someone other than these two. I'm just saying that Smith's song is more likable to a casual audience and that's why they chose it. I don't like either one honestly.
for me it's peak comfy 80's theme

also the only theme not done by a UK or American group
Casino Royale is a great fucking movie in general. It nailed everything it needed to nail. It's a shame the movies after it have been so uninspired in comparison. I like Skyfall, but even that falls apart once Silva gets captured.
>Casino Royale is a great fucking movie in general. It nailed everything it needed to nail
Except being a Bond movie. Fell short of the mark on that one
>Except being a Bond movie.
Nah.
>bond gets captured
>bond doesn't kill the bad guy
>bond doesn't save the girl
>bond doesn't even order his martini shaken
Yah
>bond gets captured
Bond gets captured all the time. Some of the most famous scenes in the series revolve around Bond being captured.
>bond doesn't kill the bad guy
Blofeld survives multiple movies. Le Chiffre's death is also more or less true to the novel, which is about as Bond as you can get.
>bond doesn't save the girl
This happens multiple times throughout the series, too. Have you seen these movies?
>Bond gets captured all the time. Some of the most famous scenes in the series revolve around Bond being captured.
Sorry forgot the key part, unlike other times, he doesn't escape. Hes rescued. Not exactly Bond like, hes supposed to be a super spy.
>Blofeld survives multiple movies. Le Chiffre's death is also more or less true to the novel, which is about as Bond as you can get.
Blofeld isn't killed by someone else though it by Bond. Ive also read Casino Royale, Le chiffre is true enough except for the part where they make him look like a wuss by having the african war lord show up in his hotel room.
And Bond movies have kinda become their own separate thing from the books for a few decades. You expect certain things from the movies, its why you go see them
>This happens multiple times throughout the series, too. Have you seen these movies?
What movie besides OHMSS does the girl die at the end?
Honestly my biggest grip with Casino Royale is that it tries so hard not to be a Bond movie. It seeks to break from the formula as hard as it can, a result im sure partially because of the reboot. The martini line practically beats you over the head with this "HE DIDNT SAY THE LINE BET YOU WERENT EXPECTING THAT"
>You expect certain things from the movies, its why you go see them
Maybe, but a faithful adaptation of a Bond novel is pretty fucking Bond to me, and the movie's more grounded touch has a lot in common with Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and even License to Kill.
>What movie besides OHMSS does the girl die at the end?
OHMSS is a pretty big thing to pretend doesn't exist. I will grant that the "main" Bond girls don't die, but plenty of secondary ones do. Paris Carver and Aki both die, May Day dies. Girls dying is a trope of its own in Bond movies. Casino Royale and OHMSS just make the main girl also the one that dies. I wouldn't say that's antithetical to Bond.
Sam smith’s song was not good at all... spectre has a kind of sadness and melancholy to it that I personally love; i felt that it really reflected the haunting feeling the entire film had (though the film itself executed the story pretty blandly and felt like a letdown)
>Maybe, but a faithful adaptation of a Bond novel is pretty fucking Bond to me
It strays from it a bit. At the end of the book Bond is not sad Vesper is dead, he's mad she was leaking info and most likely got several people killed. This isn't touched upon in the movie really which is a shame
I don't disagree its more grounded than say Moonraker, but then even Moore had his own share of more grounded movies like For Your Eyes Only and Live and Let Die.
That doesn't necessarily make it better though. Spy Who Loved Me is quite good even if it features a man with metal teeth and an under water base for the villain
>Casino Royale and OHMSS just make the main girl also the one that dies. I wouldn't say that's antithetical to Bond.
I mean it kinda is. Prior to casino royale 1 main Bond girl out of I think 20 had died. That's not exactly standard setting.
Make bond fun again!
Tf is spectre and sky fall, complete bore fests that have no impact
>That doesn't necessarily make it better though.
It doesn't make it better. My point is that it doesn't make it not-Bond.
She was such a babe it created 4 more movies
No it's not that. The gun isn't straight either before or after the heart bullet comes out of the barrel.
original song is absolute shit but this does alright.
ya know after I learned she's got huge knockers she's not so bad
