Wow, Im actually beginning to think hes a pretty good Bond. Hes not Connery or Pierce but hes good.

probably a roman rapebaby
Probably, either that or surely Dane or Norman or Germanic tribe rape baby. Doesn't matter though
His version is better than Pierce's, honestly as great as Brosnan was he was undone by Barbara Broccoli taking over and making the character more feminist-friendly. Dalton was the last one who actually acted like Bond should
Eh Pierce still had some Bond moments, particularly with Goldeneye. I do agree they tried to clearly go in a more "modern" direction when Brosnan came on board, evidenced by M's speech to him about him being a sexist dinosaur. Still, he comes across just as she describes, a relic of the cold war that is still needed and no one can do things the way he does so she has to have him.
Wut? He is the best Bond.
Yeah thanks, Sherlock.
I genuinely used to not like his movies. After I first saw them I didn't watch them again for over almost 2 decades.
Now Im giving them another chance and Im not sure why I didn't like them when I first watched them Living Daylights is surprisingly good
>not posting the superior song

That isn't superior to Licence to Kill at all.
This one is

He's the best Bond hands down. He might not be as charming as Connery or Moore but Dalton is the closest thing in appearance and character to Fleming's Bond. The fact we were cheated out of a real Dalton Bond run because of rights issues in the early 90s is a fucking tragedy.
>doesn't post the best moore song and one of the best bond themes/opening credits of all time
Get out.
Its a shame but Im also happy we got Brosnan.
Both were great but had it not been for contract obligations with Remington Steel, never woulda gotten Dalton at all.
They were actually considering Sam Neil for Bond after Roger Moore retired, and Im quite happy they went with Dalton instead
IM A SLASHER
To be fair, the iron curtain had fallen and the world had changed a lot. Spy movies needs more terroism plots which we’ve seen a lot
Its good too. But so is

His mother was Italian-American
Yeah but he was way nicer to women, didn't mistreat them, and few if any scenes that showed off his snobbery and jet set attitude. Look at Connery telling M the exact year of a brandy or champagne or Moore with his espressos and cigars. Brosnan Bond comes off as more of a comic book parody of the character just mowing down faceless goons and ordering the meme martini. Not his fault by any means, it's Barb and the writers' fault.
Too bad the good part of that movie ended when the title song was over.
It's crazy to think there was a time that Bond was the hottest shit ever (at least in UK), and some what of an anti hero. Current Bond is far too pozzed and boring.
I haven't seen the films in decades, but wasn't he one of the darkest Bonds? He's a great actor in general.
Dalton also said that Living Daylights is his personal favorite of the Bond movies he was in.
The director of both, John Glen, says Licence to Kill is the best Bond film that he directed. I agree
he's also excellent in Penny Dreadful.
I know what you mean. In living daylights Dalton has the comment about the champagne m ordered basically not being up to his standards
There is a couple scenes I can think of where Brosnan gets to do something like this. In Goldeneye he tells xenya her license plate on the ferarri was fake, and then in die another day when hes in cuba he has to answer a question about some type of cigar, still at least with the ladder his judgement of cigars is more forced than the Dalton example
Well guess its time to give License to Kill a rewatch
Might as well watch both Dalton Bond movies, then Flash Gordon.
Yeah, there were a couple of moments but clearly Barb didn't give a shit about that aspect of the Bond character.
Also does anyone else notice how, since Brosnan, every Bond girl acts like a man and is "tough" and doesn't take Bond's shit? Who was the last ingenue Bond girl or fuck who was the last one that actually behaved like a woman?
>Also does anyone else notice how, since Brosnan, every Bond girl acts like a man and is "tough" and doesn't take Bond's shit? Who was the last ingenue Bond girl or fuck who was the last one that actually behaved like a woman?
What about whatshername who got shot with the wine glass on her head in Skyfall?
Kino
Maybe Denise Richards? Though she didn't like Bond's jokes at first
I was talking more about the major Bond girls who act as his sidekick
She was still written as the take-no-shits independent woman, it's just that Denise Richards is such a bad actress that she came off as weak regardless lmao
>After the cancellation of Cover Up, Hamilton was in talks to replace Roger Moore as the new James Bond in the 007 film series. Bond producer Albert R. Broccoli was reportedly hesitant to cast Hamilton as the womanising James Bond because, in real life, Hamilton was gay. Timothy Dalton was ultimately cast as James Bond
Was this true or just a story by his agent
>*Excluding Spectre
get up to date
What the fuck was Pierce Brosnan's problem?
>as bond goes on, he gets less sex, more alcohol, and kills more people
Craig is such an ugly faggot
I guess then itd be the girl from living day lights if we're goin off main bond girls. But then I mean even Pussy Galore acted independent
>he doesn't know
STOP BULLYING DANIEL.
I don't have an issue with the occasional strong Bond girl, but it feels like that's all we've been getting for three decades now. Is it so bad for a Bond girl to be vulnerable or naive?
>"Shoot"
Plus it's worth noting that Pussy Galore was an angry lesbian that Bond turned straight with the power of his cock, imagine them doing that now lmao
best scene from spectre, despite it being a rip off of from russia with love.
>Plus it's worth noting that Pussy Galore was an angry lesbian that Bond turned straight with the power of his cock
Not to mention, he straight up raped her. He literally raped the gay out of her.
He had a tough time living upto connery and moore
If he had a few more chances to play the role im certain he'd be remembered more fondly, both his movies are good bond films.
Wrong on both counts:

>mfw no short-haired, lazy eye gf
This may not be official but it's without a doubt the worst one.
And then some, even the worst official film is a masterpiece compared to this shit. You can tell it's garbage as soon as the title song kicks in, one of the worst songs ever written. And Mr. Bean as the comic relief just holy fuck what a disaster
Yeah it's bad. Think I'd rather watch a view to a kill instead of it. Might watch it over quantum or casino royale though
The problem people had with him was he came off like Rambo the amount of shit that would happen to him. But if you read the books he portrays the action side of the novels. Bond gets the shit kicked out of him alot. Connery did a good job portraying the suave side of Bond Moore portrayed the comedy of the books well and Pierce did a good job of making the character meta while still having a mix of Connery Dalton and Moore.
Hey now, I love A View to a Kill. Underrated as fuck
goldeneye speedrunners really screwed up the metrics though
