Honestly man I dont know, practice is the best advice I can give.

Try to do it quickly and without overthinking it. If it comes out sounding like an email to an employer you spent too much time on the text. Treat it more like you're just having a conversation, but with the ability to do minor edits.
Also get comfortable with emojis and shit like "haha" or "lol" at the end of sentences (WHEN APPROPRIATE. that shit is super cringey if you do it too much). But these things can add a little emotional flavor to what is otherwise a pretty dry medium.

Oh, and realize that girls want to text about 4 times as much as you do. Do with that what you will, ignore a little, send a message and put your phone down, etc, just realize it's usually the case. If it's an actually decent girl that dowsnt text much, realize that too and treat her differently instead of assuming she doesnt like you just because she isn't triple texting you every 10 minutes.
