That'll be two hundred quid you owe me.

you know what time it is, /who/

give an opinion on something about the show, no matter how retarded it is, be honest

no one will judge you for your words but this man will shoot you if you stay silent

Season 24 is one of my most rewatched seasons and fuck all who says its bad

I have no idea how popular this opinion is but

Revival Doctors from best to worst.

10 > 12 > 9 > 11 > 13

Seconding this, as I didn't even know it existed, but now I do I want it to be the version I watch when I get there.

Reminder that Hayley Atwell is the Doctor in an alt timeline.

You too, huh? I know it's on the second disc from the dvd box but i have no idea where to find it online

I'd swap 12 and 9 around, but I can agree with that, as long as there is a massive gap between 11 and 13. Smith is my least favourite of the new Doctors overall, prior to Jodie, but she actually made me really appreciate him and even really like him.

listen was a shit episode and was the exact moment i dropped the show due to just how many fucking retard plot holes and out of character moments there were

capaldi's run was fucking murdered in it's crib by the shit writing and direction

I want to watch all the movies that can't mention the Doctor but have the supporting casts and monsters, too, but I doubt there is a pastebin for that.

why does it sound so much like hotel california?

The Fifth Doctor is the best classic Doctor after the Fourth.

Imagine episode where Doctor Hayley would sit on Clara's face, that would be terrible haha

Because, if nothing else can said to be true in God's green earth, Murray Gold is a hack.

>tfw Bradley and 50 cent Doctors never ever

Doctor Who is dead.

Holy shit you're right it does

Smith is the most alient nuWho.

alien*

>story where one of the earlier, competent, Doctors meets Graham
>during their adventure together they become increasingly nervous about their future due to Graham's lack of faith in him
>Graham half halfheartedly and awkwardly tries to pretend he doesn't know what the Doctor means when confronted on this
I'd read it.

The 14th Doctor and the 50th

My favourite Singular episode in The Unicorn and The Wasp
My favourite overall nuWho story is Under The Lake/Before the Flood
My favourite overall classic Who story is The (Animated) Macra Terror

Capaldi was miss cast he was good in 3 episodes in series 8 when he acted like a bastard but was otherwise shit

Commies ruined it in the 70's by turning the Doctor into a flowery "ethics" vagina, rather than a based traveler, just flying around, trying to enjoy himself.

Wasn't mad man with a box ripped straight from some video game?

Watching the Idiots lantern with gf right now and its amazing how this mediocre bit if shit would easily be Jodies best episode if it came out today

Do you think the Doctor celebrates all holidays? Not for religion or anything, but just enjoys our culture?

Other way round

Swap 10 and 12, then put it in reverse order and you have the correct order.

Have we seen him celebrate anything other than Christian holidays?

I liked Idiot's Lantern.

Doctor's a Christian. He even knows Jesus ;^)

I wish 12, Bill and Nardole had another season together. I really liked that team

I don't get the bit with Tommy and his Dads arc but yeah it's a good little romp but nothing challenging

Pertwee was only good in his last seasons. At first he was just this unbearable pompous faggot
Having said that he's got some great stories not gonna lie.

This but without Bill, and maybe with Frank Skinner.

Series 1 of nuwho is by far the best series/season in the entire history of Doctor Who, even if there are a few others with higher highs.

Did anyone else go to this when it toured? I took my Dad to go and see it and it was pretty impressive, especially the 16 piece Orchestra playing all of Gold's hits.

Michael Grade got away with it scott free and it SEETHES me to this day

I didn't like the ultimate conclusion between the boy and his dad. I think the boy would have made a good companion, even if it were a one-off adventure.

....yea hes a warrior for Christ

the doctor should never date his human assistants, at least not in the conventional sexual way, not because of whether it would make sense for the doctor to feel that way, but because most TV writers are only capable of depicting a relationship's commencement or peak moments (first kiss, sexual innuendos, 'i love you', physical attraction) while throwing around the word 'love', forgetting that actual love needs maintenance, a mutual emotional bond at its core, and it also has its shit moments when it falters or isn't enough, and it would be more interesting to the audience if you present that love through actions and unsaid words instead of shoving it into the audience's faces

if you're going for the relationship angle you make it more based on emotions and mutual affection instead of solely physical attraction, that would make a lot more sense for an autistic but overly sentimental character like the doctor

looking at you, Moffat, you wrote River like SHIT after Forest of the Dead

Attached: 1578559540560.jpg (750x999, 117.73K)

Big Finish these days is 70% souless and 30% actual content.
Holy shit I can't wait for this Time War shit to end

Pertwee's probably the only Doctor I just don't take to at all (no, Jody doesn't count). He insists upon himself.

Pertwee is the only doctor I'd feel safe travelling with

Also a bit of a rushed ending and I hate 10s hair but otherwise not bad but I still don't get why he goes off with his Dad like what was the message here?

What was his endgame?

Well said. The tendency of the first two Nu-Who showrunners to capitulate to shippers did wonders for the show's popularity but totally damaged its integrity. The very idea that The Doctor would literally fall in love with Rose is nonsensical when viewed from a wider perspective.

Trying to write one good doctor who story

I think he reason why The Doctor fell in love with Rose is because she's the first post war companion. She's the companion that put him back together after he seemingly killed all of his people. In any other situation he wouldn't have fell in love with her.

This

i legitimately though a female doctor could work and would lead to some funny moments. obviously i was wrong, really fucking wrong

Right. I didn't care for the whole
>forgive him because it's your dad!
platitude. Obvious Rose projecting.

So what was the Eleventh Hour bonus content?

Some pages from kid Amy's diary, read by her actress.
It was pretty cute

the message
>try and forgive people even when they fuck up
is not a bad message

Deepest opinion
Respec

This.
It's a specific vulnerability of 9 and 10.

>forgive tyranny and abuse
No thanks. Grew up in it. It isn't healthy.

It's not for everyone but forgiveness can help lift burdens you may not even know you carry
