So what do we think so far?
Obviously it doesn't feel like the same show as the last two seasons but is that a good thing?

Season 1 was good, Season 2 was bad, Season 3 is meh. Decent enough to make me keep watching but overall the future world makes the Westworld park less spectacular. Nobody likes Hale or Dolores yet they're all we see. Aaron Paul is a nice addition but he hasn't done anything. I almost wish Season 3 was shit because that's less frustrating than it being ok and waiting for it to get good knowing it may never happen. P.S. Hopefully we get more Marshawn Lynch for the memes.
painfully boring and dull, continuing season 2's trend of making the worst written characters even more badly written and then putting them on screen constantly
but it's not as bad
I'm still watching it in the hopes that we get another kino episode like the akecheta one
the mystery box is whose pearls are being implanted in the replacement androids right? Security guy and fake hale?
i don't even remember the end of s02
all the hosts jumped off a cliff and got to go to android valhalla along with all the guest data i guess which was encrypted and sent to... somewhere. then dolores created a copy of hale which killed her and took her place while dolores escaped with a bag full of mystery pearls holding the personalities of several hosts including bernard which she then remade and dumped in some shitty slaughterhouse commune
yes. But you also can't rule out mixed timelines either since that's their thing.
ugh, noooooo
>women good & powerful
>men bad & evil
they're 2 for 2, no reason to believe season 3 will be any different. There might be a twist where delores or maeve are in a simulation or some shit, but so far we've been given three possible timelines.
so who is caroline
>Season 3
>Not shit
Did you miss the part where there was a Game of Thrones dragon, and D&D cut it up and send it to Jurassic Park?
delores' horse
HOLY SHIT THE BLONDE BITCH IS FUCKING TERRIBLE GET HER THE FUCK OUT ALREADY
The scene where Tessa Thompson clone cries whilst watching a clip of herself singing to her son was the worst 3 mins of television this year.
Her kid looks like this guy
which is at least kinda funny
that was one of the stupidest goddamned things i've ever seen
scenes like that one made it very clear that a woman wrote/directed the episode. Not saying there's anything inherent;y wrong with women writing/directing, but when you can call it, they're fucking up.
I liked the scene where Jesse pinkmans robot tried to save him and just fell off the building
post yfw this serac guy is some kind of sons of the patriots ai stored in a satellite floating above earth somewhere
>super corporate bitch can have a family too.
Most of the time, both men and women who are that career focused dont have family because they have no time for it. The ones that do, literally pay other people to raise their kids for them.
ikr
>hey i run a multi-gajillion dollar corporation but i still need to pick up my brat from a non-gated school with no security where apparently pedos can walk right up and cup his balls in full view of everyone
She cries for neglecting her son
whilst neglecting her son by working till midnight
so much irons
THE BOY ROBOT IS INSANELY CUTE
>season 3 finale implies human sperm can slowly turn hosts into humans
wasn't supposed to be impossible to put a human into a machine because it went mad?
Did Dolores magically fix that? yeah Hale seems a bit mad but the other guy she clones seems pretty fine.
there's no reason to believe it's a former human in the bodies at the moment
The twist is that CharlHost is Caleb.
It's ver. 2.3 beta of a simulated simulation
they're copies of their bodies with host memories put in, which apparently works just fine. the question is who were they before? is dopple hale just a copy of dolores before she was merged with wyatt?
we're assuming they're hosts because that's what the show wants us to believe. It's very possible that they could be former humans. There's a reason they're keeping it vague.
Indeed, it was really bad
I also think it is very suspect that everyone else in the "real world" things that Delos robots going crazy and killing a bunch of people, is just quirky Delos being silly.
No one seems to care, its really strange.
Also, the parks are enormous and cost 50k a day to attend...but has no security whatsoever. A random chinaman take Bernard straight tot he beach in like 15 min. That doesnt make sense.
>it's time for organics... to end
I don't care about anyone.
>root for supergenius Delores or supergenius Maeve
>all men are submissive or evil
Ford and Man-In-Black carried the first season. Now, nobody has taken their place.
Delores and Maeve just make me annoyed.
I reckon Delores former beau is in the body of Tessa Thompson.
Shes keeping her very close
nah, teddy would never call himself a predator.
he shot himself in the head tho and then all the memory backups got purged, but i guess that makes sense
I hate that all popular shows these days take this route. They start off pulling you in with compelling story telling, and then once they hooked you in, they turn it into woman driven shit.
>but i guess that makes sense
it doesn't. Hale isn't acting like Teddy. Teddy wouldn't act like a little bitch asking to be held. He also would act like a cold hearted killer.
dont forget pulling shit like this madness
that's mundane shit that you really have to have a giant pole up your ass to care about. It's so minor that it's forgettable.
If Dr. Manhatten showed up in the Sopranos, it would not be minor or forgettable.
you're right, but if "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas. That never happened and there was no reason to. A small little easter egg connecting those three properties makes sense. Connecting sopranos to watchmen doesn't.
Marshawn Lynch and his mood shirt is a small Easter egg....Cross property CGI and references are a whole other level, even if brief
i don't know if you're trying to confuse me even more or if your memory is even worse than mine
well i did watch most of season 2 totally off my ass wasted so it's possible
it's really not. Westworld JP connection is obvious. HBO connection is obvious. It's literally nothing to get worked up over. Dr. Manhattan in sopranos is something to get upset over. but like I said, it never happened and there was zero chance it would have happened. Get upset over something else.
that summary is pretty accurate.
Most hosts went to Robot heaven. There was at least for a time 2 versions of Delores, the original and a copy in Hale.etc
>There was at least for a time 2 versions of Delores, the original and a copy in Hale.etc
what happened to the original copy?
So season one was filmed in 2015 and was great, monkey boy got elected in hollyweird land in 2016 which was a cue for all the female writers to take their feminism to all new sperged out levels, thus season two being a total shitshow continuing into season three. I'll keep watching but from what I've seen of the writing and ratings I won't be surprised if it gets canned after this season lol.
Delores was always Delores aka ERW
There was a second version in Hale, thats why there is so much confusion about who Hale is now.
no, I get it. She used the fake hale body to get out off the island. But didn't you just say there were two at one time?
it was dolores than killed the real hale, she changed back once outside and created another hale with a mystery character in it
Yes two at once.
There is a shot in S2 of Both of them together. Not body hopping, but two separate Delores
>delores
yes, so my question again is what happened to the original(or second) one
I wonder if that scene was filmed before D&D left HBO. Because it seems like after season 8, there is mutual hatred between D&D and HBO.
season was probably in production a year ago when they were still high off the first few episodes of the last season.
Will MiB come back this season to spread the Pure Dharma of the Infinite Love and Wisdom of The Shrink Ray to all of these nonbelievers?
Ed Harris has been in all the opening credits so far but has yet to appear.
The Sopranos equivalent would be:
>Assasination on Tony life on the first season is successful
>Carmela and Adriana take over the family
>Carmela is suddenly expert boss, handwaves with the lines like "You can't be married to man like Tony without learning how to run mafia"
>series becomes all about hospitalizing wife-beaters
>all male characters become submissive, everybody who doesn't, is depicted as misogynist
Definitely.
D&D got completely blackballed out of the entire industry after they completely shit the bed with GoT's ending. Even The Mouse rescinded their Star Wars contract.
>Even The Mouse rescinded their Star Wars contract.
A popular theory is that D&D rejected the offer themselves, because Kathleen Kennedy wouldn't have allowed them absolute control.
>A popular theory
