I don't know anything about warhammer but this was really cool. it kind of pisses me off how strong those armored marines are though. In Part three the enemies did everything they could and were not able to take a single one down, even with the heavy cannon at the end. That's fucking gay.

Pretty sure in-lore that dual lascannon would have shredded that marine just like it did the infantry running from him, also maybe that autocannon too but they may have just missed their shots it was hard to tell.

What's GW's take on all this? Quiet admiration? Seething envy? This guy's material is like, impossibly good. Every time I rewatch his Astartes videos, I notice new details. The professionals have to see his stuff and feel like they're getting shown up.

The rebel dudes were just woefully underequipped, and the marines are literal superhumans. They were created to slaughter giant space monsters, regular soldiers don't pose much of a threat.

I think it was two spheres talking to each other from two different locations. One is complaining about the astartes not 'obeying its touch'. The other tells it to 'break the seal'. It responds by whining that it won't survive but gets told to do it anyway. Presumably, it then does and them getting absorbed is the result.
Overhearing this makes the inquisitor spazz out for some reason.

Those two forcefield guys were fucking badasses. Whatever class or specialty those are guys is the team I wanna be on.

"Good guys" are the bulky power armor dudes. Force field sorcerers are probably possessed by some lovecraftian-styled otherworldly entity, or at least they are its acolytes.

the inquisitor took a second to tell the astartes to get their men back from the other orb. the chained orb took that moment to assault his brain as he was distracted. he probably wouldve ripped tear in the warp if he detonated

Bad writing mostly. Despite being BONED by the incel fanbase who says the HH novels are the worst thing ever, much of the pre-HH novel lore is very nonsensical and the writers have to work around the inherent stupidity of it.

Orb 2: "I have failed, brother"

Orb 2: "We have all failed." (could be Orb 1, but based on camera it is Orb 2)

Orb 2: "Impossible we'll never survive."

Orb 1: "You must take them with you."

Well, in earlier eps they just kill their way to the orb. In this one, they fuck with the orb and it eats them. That doesn't really explain much.

But I think that was intentional. It's more about the cool scenes than about the narrative.
