And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a corona was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Why do people shit on laforge so hard? Is it that one episode?
How would the show have gone if Denise Crosby didn't leave? How would her relationship with the crew evolve, and how would it have affected Worf's job?
So you killed /trek/ again.
>this still hasn't been debunked
I’ve been watching old TNG episodes and it’s surprising how unabashedly masculine the show is especially Riker. It’s unbelievable how feminized pop culture has become since then.
how does ENT live up to TOS but not TNG?
I…saw…the corona. The first horse is pestilence. Star Trek knew this.
Riker is so fucking pathetic.
I just finished marathoning all seven seasons of TNG and this cowardly fuck can't stop passing up his own command even though he keeps saying it's all he wants. And everyone keeps having a sendoff party for him or preparing for one but then he cancels at the last minute and says he belongs on the Enterprise.
Imagine if you threw a going away party for someone leaving the country or just going to another city and after everyone's said their goodbyes and given their gifts, he decides to stay for no real reason.
What an obnoxious retard.
Ron Moore is 1000 more responsible for Trek’s success than Berman. Berman has done nothing of note other than Trek while Moore has tons of credits including BSG which is either the greatest science fiction TV of all time or second only to Trek.
Oh come on, star trek has always been vapid low IQ Girl Power in SPAAAACCCCCEEEEEE
He has the commission he wants, he has friends, the Enterprise is his home. Why leave?
Tasha Yar would be hailed as the greatest feminist character of all time and would have unlocked a whole new aspect of Data's character through love. Worf would have been about the same, with Troi being written as almost a guest star in some communications officer type position like Uhura and all of her character arcs written in relation to Riker. Instead of Troi episodes we would have had Tasha episodes with Majel Barrett playing Tasha's former gang leader/possible mother instead of Lwaxana.
Having a woman as a security chief is far more complex and layered than a Klingon, as you expect a female to be soft and reactive but Tasha is fascinating because she's outspoken and the first to leap into the fray. Worf's Klingon stuff is great but as an audience we're enamored by intrigue so a character who can be both soft and compassionate yet also reveal a fiery hidden strength as the ship's line of defense is compelling in a way Klingons and honor and Alexander never really were.
"...We also don't want to infer that it would be a better society if women ruled, because as we all know, women are goddamn cunts! You can't trust them! They're vicious creatures who will cut your throat when you're not looking!"

Because it's like a son who doesn't want to leave his parent's basement. It shows a clear lack of ambition and drive not to want to make new friends and a new home for himself on a new ship where he's the one running things.
If I were in Riker's place, I would've taken every command they threw at me and by Season 7 I'd be captain of my own Akira class and popping enemies of the Federation left and right.
Riker needs to fuck off. Everyone hates that rapist. Don't be surprised if there's a transporter accident on his way out.
I just took a personality test and my number 1 fictional character match was Jadzia Dax and my third was Kasidy Yates
Does this mean I have to watch DS9? That was always "the boring one" to me as a kid and I never went back to try it
The Enterprise is the flagship. It's more prestigious to be 2nd on there than some scrub ship with people you don't know.

That's a woman's mentality. A man's mentality is that you start small and work your way up. If Riker hadn't been such a pussy he would've had his own Galaxy class ship (or more likely something more advanced) and achieved flagship status by virtue of his own accomplishments.
I like BSG but there are like 20 good episodes. Trek has more good SEASONS than that.
he simped for troi though, I guess it worked out cause he had a couple kids and had a log cabin.
What happened to enterprise C?
>Picard has sheer fucking hubris for asking for a shitty space canoe
>Riker immediately gets put in charge of an entire massive space fleet because he asked
>Closest match: pic related
>Star Trek: Quark
>Harry Potter: Rita Skeeter
>LOTR: Gollum
>Marvel: Loki
>Cowboy Bebop: Faye Valentine
okay I get it I'm a shitty person
>Samwell Tarly
Never watched GoT. Can I get a quick rundown on this character?
It's totally not a ripoff of Samwise
stuck in a temporal loop in a far flung reach of the galaxy, never came out
He's neckbeard Samwise.
Instead of being helpful and emotionally supportive, he's helpful and intellectually supportive.
I had sex all last night and this morning. Im mid 30s white dude, she is a 24 year old Chilean girl with green eyes 10 plus years younger
I did it for /trek/. We are all going to make it bros.
ITS BEEN A LONG ROAD...
GET THERE FROM HERE
BUT MY TIME IS FINALLY HERE
I'VE GOT FAITH OF THE HEART
We did it bros. We did it
Fair enough.
Should I bother with any series besides TNG
pretty good.
>I saw the Sun!
Watched that episode two days ago. Listening to Crusher recount to Guinan how she lost her name tag was kinda silly.
So in "Ship in a Bottle" he was bullshitting Picard that he didn't know he was on a starship, right?
>I guess it worked out cause he had a couple kids and had a log cabin
Not canon.
Neither is ENT
>canon
>go to youtube
>get video recommendation
>“Why didn’t Voyager use the Bajoran wormhole?“
>it‘s just over 10min long for that sweet youtube money
>over 500k views
Why aren‘t you guys making money with stupid shit?
That's what, $1,500?
>unlocked a whole new aspect of Data's character through love
What would their chemistry be in, say, season 4?
Five minutes into a video earlier today the person just started talking about other youtube personalities while the topic of their video played in the background. I'm weary of drama and social cred games and scheming. I have hobbies like painting which I enjoy and have turned into a modest source of income but that's a solitary activity like meditation. The thought of following popular trends and starting beef just so I can sit at home finding new things about Star Trek or whatever to complain about just to maintain a following seems so hollow and exhausting.
Usually turning something you love into a job kills your passion for it, and that material of you screaming over Star Trek canon will be on the internet until the end of time.
>Why didn’t Voyager use the Bajoran wormhole?
It's an interesting question. If we go by stardates, Starfleet was already aware of The Dominion and had suffered the destruction of The Odyssey. Not to mention the Barzan wormhole was touted as the first "stable" wormhole discovered but turned out to be a lemon. Imagine flying for decades, evading Jem Hadar patrols and Changeling infiltrators only to find out it had collapsed, either naturally or deliberately.
rommies need to have vampire bangs again
I got Rob Lowe from The West Wing, the test is garbage.
That thing is hideous
Why show me this?
Yeah. It's garbage.
Bill Shatner just announced he has coronavirus... RIP
cowardly fat guy
Nice

Not funny.
It also would have been in the opposite direction to Borg space which seems like a smart way to go.
Did the Federations know the boundaries of Borg occupied territory prior to Voyager?
who's that? cute, ngl
At the end of season 3 they seemed to know they were about to hit it.
They knew the Borg came from the delta quadrant but the that's it, federation did know about the dominion considering it would've been after the destruction of the odyssey but they wouldn't have known anything about either of their boundaries
That's only because they found the borg corpse on the planet after the Nekrit expanse in Blood Fever. Voyager had more continuity than stationfags like to acknowledge.
