The Apartment
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
The 400 Blows
Very based. Comfier every viewing.
meme me into watching that, is it any good?
Klaus Kinski in Yikes What the Fuck.
It's what people begin to recognize film as an art. Its influence is apparent on pretty much every single movie that has come out since its release. While it is a three hour silent film about the American Civil War, it's much more entertaining and emotionally engaging than one would assume. The director was the son of a Confederate veteran and former Klansman, and I think it's because of this strong personal connection he had to the film's subject that makes it so powerful. Also, if you're anything like the rest of this website, you'll laugh at all the racism
You convinced me
Nice picks
tarantino's magnum opus
this too
Never seen it
>666
Trips confirm
Go ahead and watch this while you're at it
If you haven't already, go rewatch the trailer. It's really well done, we don't get many good trailers these days
Thanks for another great contribution, zoomer.
Casablanca for me , its very cumfy while everyone dies
Garbage
Snoozefest
Pic related.
Also Wake in Fright.
>del negro
Fuck the suits for marketing it as a spooky haunted house horror movie to cash in on the paranormal wave, thus creating all that bad press when people weren't spooked enough, when it was a perfect example of a classic Gothic Horror Romance.
film for schizos
go back to your youtube threads zoomer
3.5 hours od silent melodrama and riding scenes so today people only call it "influential".
This was the first that came to mind for me as well
Based.
To Have and Have Not > Casablanca.
To be more specific, Bacall > Bergman.
It's a bad movie. It's just LE EBIN HOLD UP SPORK XDDD for 2 hours.
>that poster
Absolute fucking Kino at its finest.
true, i rewatched it recently and was in awe with the how well the terminator looked in the last scene
Based.
it really is an absolutely flawless film. Tarkovsky's masterpiece
thanks for letting me know what film this is in filename faggot
Kino
Obviously There Will Be Blood, you rude little shit that can't search by image. Probably won't even understand the movie with how stupid you are.
Oh and since I got distracted from the purpose of the thread, pic related and Robocop are two that always spring to my mind as 4/4 star perfect (in their respective genres of course).
Based and Respect
Fuck off to a capeshit thread you ADHD zoomer
I Never really liked this
fucking zoomer scum
Fanny and Alexander TV Cut
cursed quads
Wrong on both counts
>TV cut
my man. only way to watch that masterpiece.
How can it be perfect if the sequel was better?
if it wasn't for the ending yes
name one scene in t2 as good as this
youtube.com
Yojimbo is great film, but even within Kurosawas works I have rate Rashomon and Ran higher. Robocop is indeed great as well, perfect blend of 80's action movie oneliners and satire.
Picture also related.
This thread needs more Bergman. This film is extremely moving.
The Terminator is better movie, T2 is better action movie and has better visual effects. Terminator is simpler and perfect example how to sell romance to men, all it needs is unstoppable Austrian killing machine from future, plenty of corpses and plasma rifle in 40watt range.
>went to elementary school with the girl at 1:08
was weird when I saw this movie man
youtube.com
>le cool CGI over actual tension
This film was shit and you should feel embarrassed for posting such drivel
#releasethesnydercut
literally the greatest american film of the last 30 years
that fake arnie face tainted it
Hahah, I was actually considering posting The Third Man as well (my favorite film). I'll admit that certain of Kurosawa's works could be more technically sound or tighter than Yojimbo, but for me personally it ticks all of the boxes to what qualifies as a 'perfect' film.
Ending is the best part you pleb
What a bad way to ignore the first minute of the scene
