Werewolf movies general

Friendly reminder that full moon actually lasts for 3 nights.

It doesn't even last one night.

Technically yes, but human eye can't tell the difference.

Fucking retard

No, you!

Anyone watch American werewolf in london recently? Prolly one of my favorite movies
The soundtrack slaps
>moondance

Hello GSchad. Just chillig around.

Yes. Actually every track or song in this movie is related to the moon somehow.

Some fucker broke in my house and ate my porridge.

I'm reminding that because the main accusation against ww movies is that they always show the full moon, even if it's the night after. Obviously it's just a lazy assembly for the most part but it doesn't change the fact.

Why wasn't anybody weirded out by a wolf in teen wolf

Smack him with the spoon, mate!

Why do we never see any female werewolves get naked?

That’s a damned good design. The eyes convey two things simultaneously:

1) This is not some dumb animal. There’s an intelligence at work in there.
2) It is nowhere close to sane.

Watched it last week. Enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

We see, kinda. In Cursed the main bitch is changing before camera. And GSchads will show you 6 Ginger's nipples.

Does underworld count as a werewolf movie?

Bad moon rising is fucking great

No. Begone with this shit.

The sequel is worth watching but it takes the comedy road.

Just asking, calm down

Watched it today. It's worse than I remembered. What made awil truly great, they turned into shit.

I find it entertaining enough, at least they didn't just make a copy paste of the first but trying something different doesn't always work.

Sorry, didn't notice B. Thought it's some 10 y/o Timmy with Selene as a waifu.

It's not Howling VII tier and has some funny moment like this undead chick pointing out to angry skinheads where the guy was hiding, but this movie wasn't really funny, nor really scary. I mean, sure - it is watchable.

Is that a picture of a television screen from 2001? Kek. Have an HD one.

>Implying An American Werewolf in London wasn't full of comedy.

Also, there's plenty of nudity in Bitten TV show.

Yup. Bad Moon might not be the best horror flick of all time but surely their werewolf is one of the greatest if not the best.

I think it's just an edit, I like the look of it

Late Phases was great.

>full moon lasts for 3 nights

And just like that, I have a story idea.

>”Hunter’s Moon”
>Period piece - colonial Louisiana
>small bayou town is terrorized by a string of grisly murders
>a no-nonsense, “enlightened” inspector is sent in by the crown
>immediately at odds with the god-fearing local sheriff
>Sheriff is a Cajun who knows the legends from *both* sides of the pond
>Inspector believes they’re dealing with a madman
>Sheriff believes they’re dealing with a loup-garou
>they’re both right

Silver Bullet 4-Life. Drunken Gary Busey. Gory kills. Kino small town in fear atmosphere. One of the most underrated horror music scores. A Wearbear that looks cool I don't care what anybody says. Nostalgic feeling in the best way. Funny intentionally and unintentionally. Creepier than you'd think. Super comfy.

I watched when i was younger and didnt enjoy it all that much. Only thing I appreciated was the transformation sequence using practical effects which was pretty cool. Other than that it was a snorefest

>tfw no werewolf gf

I an still waiting for S. King to write a decent werewolf novel. Cycle of the werewolf was crap (this was calender text in the beginnig) and Silver Bullet was based on the Cycle. Sure, King was author of the screenplay, still the base was bad.

Ditto. I hated it when I was younger. It is a movie for mature viewer. Watch it again (good HD copy). You'll be suprised.

Yep. I've given that movie more than a few chances over the years. The very opening is decent and the transformation is great. Other than that its a sluggish bore that fails at both comedy and horror. I feel the same about The Howling.

burn in hell, furfag

I like Cycle and love SB. Its one of the few King adaptations to absolutely nail the feeling of a small town afraid of something evil.

Do it.

>Howling III: The Marsupials

Priest:
You should not run away from home.

Jerboa:
I don't like home.

Priest:
Why, child?

Jerboa:
Because my stepfather tried to rape me, and he's a werewolf.

I liked the thought of the werewolf being haunted by the souls of his victims. That was a great touch.

Did you read Salem's Lot?

This. In awil it is a motherfuckig badass curse. Not some Underworld superheroes from x-men, but miserable men, hating every moment of being a werewolf.

I did not. I probably should sometime.

Yep. Ghosts that are all urging him to do the only right thing.

(You) for the effort.

>doesn’t have werewolves in london

Anyone watched this? It's entertaining, better than the premise would suggest

I’d even delve into some of the more obscure, esoteric shit like the concept of being a “hound of God.” You could tell a compelling story around the concept that the only evil werewolves are those clinging to their humanity and human desires.

OP here. I keep away myself of shitty or clearly comedic flicks like Howling II, VII or III, Big Bad Wolf or other movies like that including Teen Wolf or this. I like movies that take the werewolf thing seriously. Or at least are trying to.

I don't like the whole shape-shifter thing from Werewolf the Apocalypse rpg, Underworld or even Howling I. What I like is a werewolf curse. You can't be a good werewolf - even a saint bitten by a werewolf would eat his whole family and his local priest for desert without a second of doubts.

Then you're missing out because Teen Wolf is great. The film, not the shitty show.

When I was a kid growing up in italy, you know what they call a moon that big?
La luna del cacciatore.

Not bad. Kind of like Brotherhood of the Wolf.

How has no one mention Dog Soldiers?

...la luna del cacciadore?
