I've got nothing against her and I'm sure she'll do an alright job. My problem is with recasting the character entirely.
If BF was trustworthy I would give them the benefit of the doubt, they're adapting a lost story, there's nothing they can really do.

I don't really care about recasts. The characters are more important at the end of the day.
Having said that, if they recast and get impressionists for some boring generic stories then it's just a waste. I mean, Pertchads, have any of the 3DAs with Tim produced a good worthwhile story?
Or is it like some random bullshit like Jake Dudman doing a 10 impression for some whatever boxset?

My problem is with recasting the character entirely, it reeks of Star Wars-ism and not willing to let it go.
How many new stories do we need with Sarah and 4? Wasn't what we got enough? Can't we do new things?

When shown in the US, they were usually cut together into movies, and those came out to 90 minutes. Realistically you are going to fast forward through the credits every 25 minutes so it comes to the same thing.
The classic series had the occasional two parter. (45 minutes cut together) but none of them were particularly memorable. I'd say "The King's Demons" was the best of these.
