Said it before and I'll say it again, Harry didn't marry Ginny for her he married her so that he could marry into the Weasleys. The Weasleys are the ideal family that Harry never had, he spends all his time with them when he's not at Hogwarts and Ron's parents become surrogate parents for him. If Ron had been a girl Harry would have been tapping that book 5 at the latest, but because he wasn't Harry had to settle for whichever female Weasley was left, which left only Ginny.
