I think now with the passage of time it's clear that Space Cop was a mistake and a pretty humbling experience for Mike especially.

Get some real friends, faggot
He realized he could make a living pontificating about normalfag sci-fi and repeating the same running gags with a fat brainlet and a catty homosexual and just stopped trying.
My "review" of Reddit Letter Media
>posting in a friend simulator thread
>idolizing an aging group of youtube vloggers from Milwaukee
>he gives his real-life "friends" money every month
Rich
>an unemployed construction worker, the trick monkey fraud of the group. knows two tricks: forced laughter and becoming violent. brava, rich! brava!
Jack
>a failed viral marketer with an ugly wife and children with terrible names ('myson packard?'). he knows he's the least popular cast member and desperately tries to fit in by making fun of reddit on stream
Mike
>an over-the-hill "director" weighed down by his talentless friends. only makes "ironically bad" videos because they're immune to criticism. his latest production 'Space Cop' will expose him as a fraud and be a spiritual and economic disaster. he will eventually go the route of orson welles, balloon up to 500 pounds and die at the ripe age of 50.
Jesse
>the curdling definition of a parasite. ditters on her phone while the men do all the hard work. got caught buying jewelry with actual Patreon money.
Jay
>the only cast member showing any self-improvement or growth. still has a long way to go, but has already outgrown RLM.
I like how Reddit Letter Media is a company founded upon criticism, insulting and berating others and their works, but HEAVEN FORBID that anyone criticize them! They'll even ban you from their stream if they catch a whiff of dissatisfaction. It's amazing how creatively lazy the group has become. They were better when they were a starving group. Now they can sit on their fat asses, drink beer and make fart jokes while you throw money at the screen. Amazing.
He unintentionally cultivated a legion of seething jealous permavirgins on Yas Forums
Pretending to be cooler than the other nerds while doing the same thing they were in a silly voice.
T. RLM patreon simp
Everything he has done and said has led to a cycle of self hate that he cant free himself from until he simply admits that he was wrong
Also its extremely funny to me that people still parrot the plinkett reviews as somehow "destroying" the prequels but so far almost nobody acknowledges how absolutely rick worley demolished all of these online reviewers. I can only wonder if his full size video or even the online critique part (since it can be watched independently) is going to get any traction over time
youtube.com
who?
Imagine being so butthurt about internet celebrities. SAD!
What sort of jerkoff thinks TLJ is better than the prequels
That video won’t “get traction” because it sucks.
DIE DIE DIE
Nothing, he's a famous tv star now.
>because it sucks.
you mean because it isnt filled with haha hooker jokes? you couldnt possibly refute a single one of the arguments that rick worley puts up. even the "muh references dont make it good!!!" thing is quite literally one of if not the very first things he debunks and explains in the full video. This particular half of him focusing on dismantling the idea that internet critics somehow "blew" the prequels "the fuck out" because they are "bad" is just masterful to the point where id pay to see mike stoklasa watch it on camera
No it sucks because the guy that made it seems to think he’s brilliant for understanding that George Lucas was influenced by older movies and simp,y referencing older movies is inherently brilliant in and of itself.
>id pay to see mike stoklasa watch it on camera
That says a lot about you, simp.
Like most of his generation, he was deliberatly alienated from his ethnic and religious heritage and found a replacement in mass media. Sadly, he never invested too much of his identity in cherished films from his youth that he never really tried to expand or better himself, and developed a criteria around what a movie should be based on how they made him feel and skimming their plot points. That's why he keeps giving passes to Marvel movies. They kindle the fading embers of his childhood memories just enough that he can still get up in the morning, but it won't last. He'll be in his 50's stlill doing Star Wats jokes in a funny voice like an aging vaudville star.
Good job being retarded enough to read a post where I said thats one of the first things he debunks and then reply that its only about how brilliant muh references are
rick worley talks about the cinematographical, editorial and story related references because he brings up the argument (or point) of the language of cinema and how you can construct more meaning through the understanding of this language and how the completely film illiterate internet critics dont even speak or understand said language so their surface level "criticism" of what they wanted from the story of the prequels is entirely baseless. He gives pretty explicit examples of how the references are enhancing the story and telling far more story with far less through the context of the history of that form of storytelling
QRD on the girl using their money to buy jewelry?
you know Rich wrote all the good scripts, right?
Mike is so terribfied of elderly people that he's slowly becoming one
Slowly turning into an elderly person is a pretty common thing.
compromising re:View with Star Trek was a mistake
this copypasta is pretty accurate, but still they make well over half a million a year talking about shitty movies and shows, while living in one of the cheapest states.
The Slav genes kicked in when he hit 30 and it was all downhill from there
I like the part in The Phantom Menace when Jar Jar Binks smells a stinky fart.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Do you hear that? That's the sound of Jessi's biological clock slowly ticking away. At the age of 33, she only has two short years before the risk of miscarriage, birth defects, and sterility rapidly rise.
For years Jessi kept her biological imperative stored deep down in the back of her mind.. but as all eventually women find, the sound will grow louder and louder - a horrifying cacophony of guilt and regret will fill her every thought - eventually deafening even the most unfit or unwilling of women.
Tick. Tock. Tick! Tock!
Her latest disappearance is no coincidence. The flood of nasty comments she read about her exploding weight and fading youth have grown so heavy that she can no longer find the strength to appear in front of the camera. Combined with her distress over her fleeting chance at motherhood, Jessi will most likely "find herself" in the coming months. She will stay out partying with her girlfriends later and later each night, making new "friends" and dancing with strangers to feel beautiful again. Mike will have his suspicions, but he isn't man enough to contain forays into the Milwaukee night. He'll wonder who her new friends "Tyrese" and "Jamal" are, and why Jessi texts them so late into the night. This desperate search for self-affirmation and a more virile buck (no, Mike is not the man she expected him to become) will lead to a path of self destruction and ruin. And just like that, her brief moment in the Internet's spotlight will dim and sputter - a poetic reflection of her life - and she will vanish never to be seen again.

"Third Reich Mike" Stoklasa is the well known leader of the Milwaukee Mulatto Murderers. They roam the streets at night, holding down innocent immigrants while Mike administers goofballs to their unsuspecting anii. Few survive.
He also has dealings with the Wisconsin White Brotherhood, run by one Jay Bauman, they operate a drug trafficking ring heading by Rich Evans who breaks into rival gangs' warehouses at night and burns them down due to his poor fire safety record.
>Stoklasa has gone by several aliases and nicknames. They include: "Third Reich" Mike, Mike "The Nigger Grave Digger" Stoklasa[41], Mike "The Milwaukee Mulatto Murderer" Stoklasa, "Going Rambo on Sambo" Stoklasa[42], Mike "Impugn the Coon" Stoklasa, "Myklon B" Stoklasa[43], Mike "Minority Deport" Stoklasa, Mike "Senegal Wrecking Ball" Stoklasa[44], Mike "The Spook Nuke" Stoklasa, "Peekaboo, Jiggaboo!" Stoklasa[45], Mike "The Quaking Quadroon Quasher" Stoklasa, "1941: A Race Odyssey" Stoklasa, "Sambo Saboteur" Stoklasa, "The One Man Klan"[46], "Eschew the Jew" Stoklasa, "Catch Me If You Klan" Stoklasa and Mike "Ampf" Stoklasa.[47] It is unknown at this time whether he has gone by any other names.
FATHER NURGLE GRANT ME YOUR BLESSINGS!
He is best known for his Plinkett Reviews, in which he humorously reviews films such as Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace[4] and Triumph of the Will[5].
>Though never convicted of any crime, the Milwaukee Police Department considers Stoklasa to be connected to the Walnut Street Lynchings of 1996-97.[26] Stoklasa has vehemently denied his involvement in the crimes. "No, I was absolutely not involved in that... tragedy. I find it disgusting that you would accuse me of such a thing merely because of my political and social values. If my testimony is not enough, my business partners Jay Bauman and Dolf Herrman can vouch for me. I offer my condolences to the families of the victim,"[27] Stoklasa said in court when questioned about the lynchings by state prosecutor William Carpenter.
>After Stoklasa was found innocent, Carpenter told reporters that Stoklasa had a hint of a smile when he said "tragedy"[32] and noted that Herrman was hardly a trustworthy individual, having served time in prison for racially charged assaults and vandalism.[33]

Jay "gay for pay" Bauman and Rich "gonna choke a bitch" Evans.
This video feels like its trying to argue that the prequels are good because they include a lot of references to other movies, or that they're good because George Lucas is well versed in film. Neither of those things necessarily make the films good, personally I'm not that passionate about anything from Star Wars one way or the other, so I'm not even saying he would be wrong to say the prequels are well designed films, but I think he argues it poorly and gets caught up in the comment from Lucas about critics not being knowledgable about film rather than the films themselves are the criticisms against them. I didn't watch the whole video though, but it seems like this is the case from the first chunk of it.
Thats not the video, thats one half of the full video that he separated because that deals with the online "critics" who think the hate the prequels because the prequels were "bad"
> that the prequels are good because they include a lot of references to other movies,
maybe watch the actual 2 hour video before saying something this retarded. He also talks about the function of the references as a storytelling device because the "references" in the movies are multilayered tools rather than some skin deep homages to movies lucas likes, like perfectly illustrated by the dual reference at the end of the phantom menace where the celebration is practically a remake of scenes from the fall of rome and the music is a redo of the emperors theme
Why they decided to do the movie in 7 days or whatever is beyond me. They weren't making a so bad it's good horror movie, it's supposed to be a comedy. That takes more effort
Who the fuck is jesse?
I'm definitely not going to watch two hours of that, but putting that aside, he spends a lot of time pointing out that this is a reference to this and this is a reference to that, when he said everything he needed to get his point across after talking about the conveyor scene and tying it back to Metropolis. He spends a lot of time pointing out that Chris Stuckmann doesn't know what he's talking about after already showing it effectively too, it wasn't necessary to say, also the worm from the assassin is a reference to this trope, the close up on Obi-Wan's eyes are a reference to Spaghetti Westerns and so on. He talked about the function of references as you say, and he talked about a meaningful example of that, but then he just pointed out a bunch more references for the sake of pointing out that Stuckmann didn't recognize them while not saying anything meaningful about them himself.
If he cut out him elaborating on the meaning of all that in this video then that's fair enough, but in this video here it just seems like he's repeating himself and making the same point over and over despite having already conveyed his point well the first time.
>I'm definitely not going to watch two hours of that
Okay. Then never mention the hours long plinkett shits again or pretend like youre interested in any type of actual discussion about the prequels for that matter. Didnt read further than that
I never watched the Plinkett reviews, whether I have or not is irrelevant to whether this guy is good at arguing his point or not. I don't need to watch the Plinkett reviews to conclude that this guy is repeating himself pointlessly.
I 100% believe this. A lot of film reviewers on youtube just assume they're instinctively good filmmakers and that they could do something good if they tried, and eventually when they fail they all start getting depressed and unmotivated, losing passion for the craft.
>I never watched the Plinkett reviews,
this thread is about mike and people only care about him because of said reviews
>I have or not is irrelevant to whether this guy is good at arguing his point or not
the "point" of the second half of his video was to clearly demonstrate and dismantle the idea that these internet critics know what they are talking about and he achieves it by going through their repetitive talking points based on ignorance. You could say that the video could have been shorter and I could say that it could have been five times longer but ultimately it has literally nothing to do with whether or not he does a good job at achieving what he tries to accomplish with the video. The entire basis of his actual full video is to approach the prequels with the question of what lucas intended to achieve with them rather than what the clueless modern fanbase wanted from them
>the dunning-kruger effect
Oof, this is gonna get really autistic really fast isn't it
Stop trying to convince people your crappy video is good
That video made my skin crawl, it's frankly embarrassing.
Zing! But seriously, Milwaukee has a lot of beer and cheese and sassage. Anyone would get fat here.
Space Cop wasn’t made in 7 days.
great arguments mike and jay. heres the actual full video btw for everyone with an actual brain

>p-please watch my video!!
Your desperation speaks volumes
They shot it in an incredibly short amount of time, iirc. If not that's even worse
Who the fuck is this prick you're shilling for?

go kill yourself subhuman
if you werent a retarded newfag you would have already seen the video since it was spammed day and night in every star wars thread around christmas
Seek help and learn to make more compelling video essays, faggot.
something isn't good because it makes a reference or something you idiot. you watch movie. it's bad (like the prequels). then you and try to point out the things that made it bad. you don't know this because you take your options from other people. but no one watches a movie, like it's, has someone point something about about it, and the. suddenly decide they hate the movie. that's not how it works
