People still pirate movies because there is no single service that offers all movies. I have Netflix, HBO Now, Disney+, and Amazon Prime and I still cant watch everything I want. Most annoying of all is paying for Prime and then STILL paying for a movie.
One day someone will crush all other services, buy rights to all available licensees and there will be a single service for ALL movies. Maybe it will be Netflix, but in a huge twist of fate I'd love for it to be Blockbuster.

Through a couple accounts I pay and a couple passwords I have from family I have access to just about everything. Even the movies on the TCM app and TNT/TBS/AMC etc
What pisses me off is that theres no way to search them all. It takes forever to do actual diligence to make sure I’m not about to pay for some movie that I already have through Starz or something.
