I met Ben Affleck in the green room. He's very important to me because he sends me notes on how to improve the movie...It's not easy to be in Hollywood they get you out if you fail. I worked on many movies but very important for me to stay on track for my success. I can answer more questions about Argo. Personally, I think we will a lot more smaller/low budget projects get picked up and produced. Lower risk for portential big success. Basically I think a lot more places will try and emulate the Blumhouse model.

I also think studios will basically only do IP or sequals as far as "big" movies go, more so than they were before, and even those I think will be reduced somewhat for at least 5 years.

You can send notes to many people...then you can get a call back. It's important to talk to important people but you have to see the light in the darkness. Talk to many directors and see if they want you there...I have to go many places and fly many flights but when I talk to Ben Affleck he assures me there are many roles for me..

Movie industry will be dead after all of this is over...the Bat chink virus has removed all potential revenue for my production company. I have problems with actors and many people I never spoke to calling me. I had wished to talk to Trump about this...we need money for funding future movies. But the big project I am working on is very important and it keeps my job safe from the collapse.

Not who you were asking, but you absolutely could be an intern (though u might have to work for nothing or virtually nothing) or an assistant/production assistant if you are lucky. Though having previous intern experience helps with getting assistant gigs, which everyone is trying to get.

You could also be what they call a "reader" which is someone who reads submitted scripts and gives a summer and recommendation to the producer on whether or not they should take the time to read it and consider it for producing. A lot of those jobs can pay real shit, but there is also some that can pay pretty well. For example Disney has a whole reader division that is probably the best paid in the industry, and certain studios have reader jobs that are covered by a union.

You're a fucking liar. Unless you work in one of the "lower parts," of which I know nothing about. Once you are respected enough that Studio Heads will take a meeting with you without being on their fucking iphones (back when they'd be on phone with me it was backberry), that's when you know you've made it.
I can only really speak to writing, and IMO it's the best asnd only profession to be a part of (directing/writing) since when you have something on paper and once you get some name recognition, it's a fuck of a lot harder ti rip you off.
Some of the downsides? you end up with so many fucking people on your payroll, half of whom you really don't even known what they do: agent, publicist, accountant, manager...I mean, you need them since (at least in my case)_ unless I'm on set I'm literally working 18-19 hours a day.
People think it's a glamourous...maybe if you're an actor it's fun and glamorous. But if you aren't, it's just work, then more work...then work with director on set to change certain scenes he might not be pleased with.....then working with the director in post...even the money you make, you never have time to fucking spend. I think Europe will become the next destination with streaming deals after Hollywood collapses...but I am relocating to Italy because this is what my director friends have said is where Netflix is looking for empty space. I talk to Ben Affleck to this and he says it's no good...he never agrees on anything.
