It's no secret that Lynch fans are just fedora posers trying to appear intellectual. No matter what Lynch films, it's amazing to them by the mere fact that it exists and apparently has hidden meaning. Everything is a gem even if they don't understand it or just feign to understand it.

Return is extremely different. It is worth watching and has some of the best scenes of the entire series, but on the whole it's not nearly as good as the best of S1+S2 or FWWM.
