One of the major points of the series was the enslavement and oppression of the Narns by the Centauri. But after the Narns get their freedom they become just like thier former oppressors and begin to subjugate others. Near the end G'kar and Lando turn from rivals who hate each other to friends, putting an end to the cycle.

To me this is too nuanced and realistic to be woke. If the series was made today it would be more black and white with the centauri being irredemable villains.
