Starts out in the book of Genesis and Satan takes Adam and Eve into the future of mankind but Satan only shows them the negative, Satan wants to mislead Adam and drive him to despair. Shows various points in human history, hedonism in Rome, French Revolution, world wars and more. Adam is tempted to commit suicide but Eve stops him once she reveals that she is pregnant with their first child. Adam realizes he has to live to provide for his child, child is the hope for the future. The goal is to struggle in live, but strive on and have faith, I see it as being stoic. Beautiful animation as well. Each time period has different art style to it (ancient Greece point in the movie looks like the stuff you would find on ancient Greek pottery, ancient Egypt artwork in this movie reminds me of hieroglyphs
