>Dad shouts "BASED"
>Little sister playfully punches my arm and smirks

Based

>be 23yo aspie neet manlet virgin shut living with mom
>watch tv/movies with her, it maintains morale
>been stringently vetting movies beforehand in fear of sex scenes, try to avoid movies that depict them
>every movie has sexual scene in one form or another
>each sexual scene a spotlight is placed on me, illuminating my utter failure to sprout as a human being
inability to relate with romance or sex scenes is the most dehumanizing, humiliating, demoralizing experience ever and i know she knows im a dud, these scenes are just a reminder. FUCK media and movies for their unnecessary cramming in of sex scenes and sexual tension, sexual humor, and persecuting references to virgins and incels. I DID NOTHING WRONG and yet I am still antagonized for existing.

We don't have Netflix at my house, so whenever we watch movies, my parents ask me to "get it for them" on my laptop.
To avoid the sex scene situations, which go on longer than comfortable in modern movies, I have now started editing the sex scenes out of the movie before I hook my laptop up to the TV and watch it with them.
