Is she stronger than Homelander?
Is she stronger than Homelander?
No, but she doesn't do that weird thing he does with his lip so I like her more. He looks like he's chewing tobacco or has false teeth or something.
Nah, she got owned by flash on drugs.
>Starthot
>Stronger than Chadlander
Lmaooo!
Is black noir gonna be stronger than homelander?
>Built for BBNoir
ftfy
no
Perfection
meh
>makes your powers useless
Phh nothing personnel, girl
She still has super strength. Her introduction shows her punching holes through brick and lifting a car
>someone posted her nudie pic but jannie got here before me
:(
She has a nice butt.
Yes but men with just slightly above average strength can do both of those things for real.
guess she should just go on home then
Cute little boobies
would suck/10
Based petite/spinner gals
Clearly not since he gets gutted fighting Kimiko, and the trailer shows him staggering after Butcher rifle butts him in the face
Starlight catches two .50BMG rounds to her chest at point blank range and reacts like she's been punched a bit hard, a normal human would have been cut in half
Is this normal if i want to lick those?
Nicely shaped boobs with cute nips. 10/10 would suck on. I hate it when chicks get fake tits and its glaringly fake. Who the fuck enjoys that
That still puts her a cut under Homelander and Maeve, who took like 30 shots without even moving.
I mean yeah. Homelander is pretty strong and he has superspeed/flight plus laser eyes. I do like the portrayal of Homelander in the show, he's a lazy fuck who just lasers instead of actually doing something
Looks so much like that rogue actress from x-men
I think she's between Captain America and Spider-Man in strength. Though apparently () way above both in durability.
Homelander is probably between Spider-Man and baseline Hulk in strength. In the comics he's probably a good chunk above both in durability.
Homelander could probably bitchslap Starlight to death in one go in the comics. Show version might have to do it twice.
It's made clear that Homelander is far and above the most powerful supe. I'd still note that Starlight got shot with a much bigger gun than either of them - Butcher was packing the comically big-ass ammo on the right, the mass shooter had a 5.56x45mm AR-15 as they always do and the hajjis were of course using the traditional 7.62x39mm Kalashnikov
Also they used it as shorthand that Maeve doesn't equal Homelander too, because he TOTALLY no-sells being hosed down with bullets like he doesn't even realize it's happening whereas she actually looks vaguely irritated and uncomfortable when she's being machinegunned.
>white """""""ass"""""""
Based retard
(((((White)))))
Nah, Homelander’s whole thing is OP superman is the bad guy.
I always found it weirdly inspirational at the end of the comic that Noir kills Homelander but Homelander FUCKS UP Noir in the process, the faggot is a staggering dismembered corpse when he leaves the White House. I wish we had seen more - as the only "real" fight Homelander has in his entire life, he seemed to acquit himself remarkably well. Especially since he loses his fucking jaw in the first second, if he were actually just a superpowered wimp he would have collapsed there
Yeah. I don't think anyone was arguing anyone was stronger than Homelander. He has the most powers among everyone and he doesn't even try. He fucks around too much at the job.
>not using 4chanx
I'm glad Homelander got to let out some steam. The twist made him kinda sympathetic. And to be fair, the guy he was fighting was pretty close to retarded.
>using a botnet
Supergirl is regularly depicted as having more potential and less experience than Superman
Are the comics worth reading? Lockdown would be the time to try them.
kys
Jesus, eat a sandwich girl
lol
How come being thrown across the ground never damages their suits? Never even happens in the films.
>Are the comics worth reading?
No. The comics are a series of amusingly gory setpieces divided by the worst fucking story ever written.
The Boys TV show is so widely praised because unlike most adaptations, it actually ADDS character depth and motivation and relationships where they didn't exist in the original.
amerimutts spotted
That fight turns over SO quickly. I guess Darkseid is just surprised for a solid minute then finally he shakes it off and goes "fuck it I'm gonna murder this bitch"?
ffs garth
no, they are edgelord wish-fullfilement.
i like how the art is similar to michael turner book its based on
>incel gymlets in 6millionchan can lift up cars
This. I like aspects of the comic, but it's way too edgelord to enjoy that many issues of. Maybe if you broke them up and didn't binge read like I did.
I've been trying to articulate something like that myself. The Boys is somehow 72 issues where nothing happens. I know everybody hates CW melodrama but that's a really long comic to have zero character or relationship development in it, everybody just stays the same throughout and then they all kill each other.
Homelander alone is so interesting in the show and he was frankly so boring in the comic.
isn't his whole thing being 'the end of hope' or some shit?
>let her throw you around for a while
>she thinks she has the upper hand
>glimmer of hope as she goes all-out on you
>effortlessly defeat her
>hope extinguished
Completely agree. I wish the boys crew was on compound V because I like the idea of them fighting low level hero's, but I think they will in S2 now that they introduced V like that.
I haven't read comics in forever, but I thought supes put a cap on that by telling her it was just because he'd gotten so used to containing his powers living on earth for 30+ years?
No. What a stupid question.
yes but also darkseids powerlevel never makes sense because we only ever get to see his representation in our lower-dimensional scale
My favorite change was making these two genuinely best friends.
Good omen that we haven't seen a prop sword, too
I liked how they made Maev more sympathetic and made homelander into more of a ends justify the means guy rather than a full on sadist.
>genuinely best friends
I want to argue with you but... They are, aren't they? There isn't even any competition. In fact it's almost freakish how much Homelander hides absolutely nothing from her
>blacked
It seems like all supers in the show have incredible durability but with a select few being literally immune to damage.
>They are, aren't they?
No, they're not Maeve, as everyone else, is terrified of Homelander and just tries to not get on his bad side.
Homelander isn't friends with anyone.
She throws herself in front of Homelander to save Starlight, and Homelander responds by... Calming down and accepting her advice out of respect to her.
Like clockwork the fucking amazon shills pop up to shill this fucking gay ass series just like they did last year with the constant "UMM HOMELANDER PLANE BASED?" shit last year. Don't even pretend like Jeff Bezos doesn't send little goons here, he has a billion dollars he probably sends them to fucking IRC channels too.
They're like those exes that k ow they would never work but like each other enough to be friends. Homelander likes her as a confidant mostly, I don't think he's capable of having a real friend
They also strongly imply that Butcher's C4 explosives at the end of S1 couldn't hurt him either, even if he was hit with the explosion. And that's quite a bit stronger than any round in any caliber.
Btw never understood why Sups so rarely uses his lasers. They are pretty much the most versatile and effextive weapon he has and just enough to fuck with most enemies.
>I don't think he's capable of having a real friend
I'd agree but that still makes her the closest semblance of one by far
Also Vought pressured them to (pretend to?) date and neither of them liked it. Maeve of course because she's a big ole 'mo but apparently HL wasn't into it either
I think it's because she's the only one near his power level so he accepts her as a peer, even if they both know he's actually in charge.
He does in the comics.
Canon, true to character Superman that isn't evil or an AU supes is pretty much the opposite of Homelander. He wants to find the best way to fix a problem that doesn't destroy or cause harm, as much as he can. It helps that, like Homelander, he actually doesn't fight world, Universe, or reality threatening foes as much as people tend to think he does, most of his threats are more a threat to other people than to himself. Practically speaking it also does drain his energy much faster than any other power he uses so it's usually safer to use his durability and speed to win a fight, using heat vision to defeat enemies he doesn't need to worry about "killing" or waves of said enemies. Homelander just casually lasering everything without lifting a finger is a great way to demonstrate how different he is from Superman's work ethic, taking the quick and easy solution whenever he can.
REEEEEEEEE DONT TALK ABOUT SHOWS ON TELEVISION AND FILM BOARD
I really liked the relationship that they had. She seemed like the only person for whom he had even a modicum of respect.
