>The only thing they've had to teach them is a couple of hermits and fear of extermination. >But fear is an incompetent teacher.
Why are we complaining about the writing? I've seen nothing but good things, good storyline. In my estimation if you are over 40 you likely fully appreciate the uniqueness that is TNG, and value the Picard show, in whatever form they bring it. If you are under 40, likely you never appreciated TNG when it came online, only in retrospect and you are too critical of Picard.
Also: just learned STD new season out soon, and it looks epic. Support the franchise bros, its all we got.
No, it isn’t. Your opinion is the worth the shit on my toilet seat, it’s worth the cum on my dick, it’s worth the mud on the fucking grass. If your opinion had a price it would be free because no one would wish to buy such a disgusting opinion, they would rather give it away to the poor soul gullible enough to believe it.
Anthony Davis
>Picard trying to tell them what starfleet once was >writing so bad that you can't even communicate that
I've got the shovel. Where's the casket?
Justin Mitchell
>tell me what's wrong with trek >also disregard the writing The show should have been about the data kid, end of story. Picard was the sell line and you idiots are perfectly predictable.
The end is the same- who are these fucking idiots and why should we care? Watch the first episode of TNG. It's a fucking mess.
They all try to sell forced lines and have no idea what the fuck they're doing. Yet, they look so fucking excited to be there you just try to like them.
Discovery was full-on "I deserve this" and you don't even know who the fuck those pricks are. You can see it in their body language like "how dare you like me all my handlers say you should!"
James Morales
The fact that the finale didn't have a half hour long action sequence surprised me in a pleasant way desu
Robert Brooks
>>He shits all over his toilet seat
Not doing much to sell the value of your opinion mate
Cameron Myers
indeed, it was classic Picard TNG-era kino. I liked it.
Jacob Perez
please. its a comedic send up. while a fun tribute, its nothing like authentic TNG.
he could have been an ally in the holodeck, with a holodeck body, and still enjoyed a good life, helping his mates.
death sucks, show is deathist, yo.
Jaxson Gomez
I don't know some bullshit about being immortal not being a full life. I'm crying and I wanted them to give data a shell too bring him back why did you kill him you wrinkly old fuck Picard.
Zachary Torres
He was already dead, did they bring him back then kill him again?
Julian Nelson
Patrick Stewart is playing Xavier instead of Picard
Gabriel Kelly
It started off shaky but Picard is shappening up to be classic TNG style Star Trek.
Nolan Morales
>He actually watched it Of all the great TV and movies out there, this faggot is watching "Muh Refugees" The Series lmao
stop accusing people who like a show as being a "paid shill". I don't accuse you of that for stuff you like, do I?
Hunter Walker
Name a major plot thread in Picard that you enjoy, and then explain why you enjoyed it and how it is reminiscent of TNG. Go.
Caleb Ward
the last episode closing the chapter with Data and Soon. All the philosophical implications, Picard giving his life to save the AI. The based Riker having his back. The Troi episode... its all just been phenomenal kino. Why u mad about it?
The morality that Picard made Daj face, was reminiscent of class TNG Picard more than anything.
Austin Green
There's something off in your grammar / writing... like you're trying to be from here, but you just shine through as a paid shill.
Dominic Jackson
I'm here to say that this mess isnt even close to tng >too close to actors faces, not enough on shots or background >too much shell shocked effect where a character is dazed >score has been rather unmoving or is too loud >Ships are copy pastes, there's been like 6 unique ships in the series The characters are more flaws than people >Rios is probably the best out of the new >Agnes is a fucking mess mentally and should not be near anyone, what is this the 3rd or 4th cross she's done >Picard is just I believe in you and "ENGAGE" >Foolish samurai warrior is using a sword in phaser era but otherwise is whatever >7/9 Is decent >Raffi is an absolute nut and is just a (much) worse Worf Not to mention they killed Hugh and Data
Jason Gutierrez
>Support the franchise bros, its all we got.
You should kill yourself if this is your life.
Nathan Sanders
ass deep
Jack King
This entire series has been low effort, and nothing like Star Trek. Even STD and JJ-Trek is more like Star Trek than this. Captain Riker is too camp, and 7 of 9 is too different from Voyager 7. TNG was kino.
The finale ticked every box on the offensively stupid list, and created several new entries while it was at it. When Riker showed up I was at the point where a fleet of pantomime horses could have appeared and I wouldn't have blinked...I was already dead inside.
I loved how Data, who is MUCH younger than Picard and has lived his entire life knowing that he would likely at least outlive most of his friends, is suddenly fine with dying sooner than Picard for no reason rather than let himself be recovered.
Cameron Sullivan
>Support the franchise bros, its all we got. If you honestly think this represents Trek, you my friend have no idea what Trek is.
Zachary Morris
No
Ayden Wood
Star Trek and Star Wars both need to die.
Aaron Lopez
lets rip off mass effect and make picard a robot while we're at it
Charles Sanders
>Also: just learned STD new season out soon, and it looks epic. Support the franchise bros, its all we got.
>all those borg get flung out into space and seven yells no >this is apparently bad despite the fact that borg can survive in space >not like she has control of the cube or anything and can beam them back onto the ship >nope they're all dead now for some reason
The reviews for this show is more than enough to show me how fucking awful it is. I mean Riker bringing up the shields on his house because Picard is in "trouble again?" Oh yeah, that Picard was always getting himself into those sticky situations and people were always after him. Fuck off.
Elijah Clark
Gaslight harder. His answered your questions, you just like his answers.
I liked the show and its finale.
Jack Hall
In all 10 episodes that was pretty much the only smart thing. Even this is kinda debatable since Romulans just kinda given up in a lame way.
I hoped Seven hooking into the Borg hivemind would've led somewhere but all her Borg got spaced immediately and she came right back to normal. Could've been interesting
Levi Ross
This is an actual skinwalker it almost understands how to speak but it's trying to emulate a speech pattern it doesnt understand
Logan Rodriguez
They had very cool ideas that they didn't know how to use.
Matthew Morris
>giant borg cube follows to synth planet oh neat, it'll be up to seven to hold off the romulans until the federations helps. setting up some sort of cyborg and synth group plot line >gets destroyed by giant flowers >does nothing afterwards what the fuck was the point of bringing the borg cube then?
Gavin Allen
What was the point of the Borg being in the show at all?
Thomas Butler
>borg got spaced
That shouldn't be a fucking problem since Borg can survive in space. Holy fuck that was retarded. She should have started beaming them back in. I fucking hate the entire team in charge of Trek. They're fucking idiots who don't know a single fucking thing about Trek. Anyone giving their money to this shit are the reason why Trek will never be good again deserve what they get.
Ethan Torres
to .... die? bring in seven? i was hoping they would tie in synths with borg somehow, like a "next evolution" of borg that can be fully synthetic instead of having to assimilate people for drones
Benjamin Ward
Lots of people only hate this show because RLM told them too, I guarantee nobody
Jayden Fisher
It's a zero effort Mass Effect ripoff with bits of the opposite of Star Trek bolted on.
Dumb generic action scifi.
Trek ended with a Klingon in a corn field fleeing from battle.
